Legoland Florida The fourth house post in Legoland Florida's Brick or Treat Street series is the first to time an individual house: 25 to 35 seconds at Plant Monster's Greenhouse. The 7 to 10 minute figure for the whole walkthrough has been on the park's site since August 28.
Universal Orlando Permit DEM2026-10185 was processed by the City of Orlando on the same Friday that construction walls were reported to have reached the already closed Treasures of Poseidon gift shop. It is the first new demolition permit at Islands of Adventure in almost a year, it names no building, and it lists PCL, the same contractor as the still open 2025 Lost Continent permit.
Disney World The General Motors showcase at Test Track's exit has a new headliner: a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe 3LZ with 1,064 horsepower, a $221,095 total price, and a $3,000 gas guzzler tax printed on the sticker beside it.
Universal Orlando A Universal City Studios application published September 3 describes tracking fabric in real time so a projector can paint images onto it as it moves, creating what the filing calls a costume-changing illusion. No specific attraction is named.
Disney World New aerials of the Monstropolis show building at Disney's Hollywood Studios capture the twin gray steel towers that will raise suspended trains more than 40 feet up in about four seconds, plus a yard full of gray coaster track waiting to be installed.
Legoland Florida A new attraction page went live September 3, two days before Brick or Treat opened, and the marquee in Legoland's own photo already reads Imagination Theater. We can find no announcement of it. The film pages still list the location as Fun Town, and no one else appears to have reported the new name.
Disney World The West Side and Marketplace churro stands stop serving at the end of the night on Saturday, September 5. Disney has not announced the closure or said what replaces them. Two days earlier it published ten new churro items for the fall, spread across all four theme parks and both water parks but not one at Disney Springs, though the Typhoon Lagoon listing is not until 2027.
Legoland Florida Brick or Treat opens today. The event guide Legoland posted Friday afternoon gives the LEGO Mummy three appearances and the Wacky Witch four starting at 4 p.m. The park's schedule page says seven and six, on a completely different pattern. If you are going this weekend, the guide is the newer document.
Universal Orlando Universal City Studios filed a fresh JAWS service mark on September 3 that expressly covers amusement park attraction and theme park services. The catch, and it is a real one: the filing is based on existing use, not intent to use, so on its own it is not evidence of a new ride.
Disney World Disney's own notice says only that the EPCOT seafood restaurant is expected to reopen later in 2026. The operating calendar is more specific: reservations pick back up Wednesday, November 4, a gap of about eight weeks. Lunch is not returning either, though that cut happened quietly back in January.
Legoland Florida The Monster Makeover Station, Legoland Florida's hotel-guest costume perk for Brick or Treat, runs 8:30 a.m. to noon on event days. Candy stations do not open until 2 p.m., and the park is open until 8 p.m. today. It also operates in only one of the resort's three hotel lobbies.
Universal Orlando The shop at the exit of Poseidon's Fury closed for good earlier this year but had never been walled off. Crews have now pushed The Lost Continent construction walls forward to seal it off from the walkway, and WDW News Today reports it will be demolished. Across the walkway, the walls next to Mythos moved back to give guests more room.
Disney World Aerial photos published Friday show two finished sections of the Maya pyramid facade craned onto the Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent building at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The top and bottom thirds are carved and painted in red and turquoise. The middle is still open steel, and WDW News Today reports the back of the facade is crumbling rock.
Legoland Florida Legoland Florida has given Scarecrow's Barn a post of its own, the second Brick or Treat Street house to get one. One line in it has not appeared on any earlier Legoland page: the experience is designed with a street actor helping run the interaction while the crow supplies the audio. The rest, including the Mischief Town mural build, mostly restates the park's August 28 overview of the street.
SeaWorld Orlando Two lines have been added to the Journey to Atlantis card on SeaWorld Orlando's rides page: weekdays 11am to 4pm, weekends 11am to 5pm. None of the twenty other listings on that page carries an hours note, the ride's own page does not carry the hours at all, and the three Quick Queue products that include Journey to Atlantis list it without mentioning the shorter window.
Universal Orlando A Universal City Studios patent application published on Thursday describes a drone built to look and move like a flying creature: wings that beat faster as it accelerates, a head that turns into a turn, a tail, and optional hardware including a speaker and a fire shooting pyrotechnic. The filing never says dragon. Theme Park Insider connects it to the flying dragons promised over Isle of Berk, which WDW News Today reported in April 2026 had been seen above the land only once.
Disney World Disney said in October 2025 that new props and lighting would follow the 3D to 2D conversion at Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Blog Mickey found the first two on Friday morning: a spilled box of dry pasta in the kitchen scene, and a cutting board holding cheese and a wine cork in the rooftop finale. Both sit where the built set used to hand off to a bare screen edge.
Legoland Florida The old AAA deal was a flat 20% off any LEGO themed room and it expired yesterday. The replacement Legoland posted this morning is up to 25% off, but only on Sunday through Thursday stays. Brick or Treat runs 18 nights and 13 of them are Fridays or Saturdays. Once the September 7 start date and the October 11 blackout are applied, just three event nights qualify.
SeaWorld Orlando Electric Ocean, which this June added an all new drone show ahead of the IGNITE Fireworks Spectacular, is listed only through Monday, September 7, and so is Baby Shark at SeaWorld. The next event SeaWorld lists with fireworks is Christmas Celebration and its Holiday Reflections fireworks finale, which does not start until November 6.
Disney World A new row in Disney Vacation Club's modification guidelines says travel dates and room types can only change once the original check-out date is within 11 months of the request. Keying the rule to check-out instead of check-in removes the several day head start that made walking a reservation work. Disney says the booking system updates are still coming.
SeaWorld Orlando Pestilence and the Fisherman meet Pass Members in the Pass Member Lounge on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Howl-O-Scream does not open until September 11, and SeaWorld's own daily schedule has the Sesame Halloween Parade starting at the exact same hour.
Universal Orlando The Park Operations Center inside Jurassic World: Escape holds the full Jurassic World park map, and the attraction list runs to 19, from the Gyrosphere and the Mosasaurus Feeding Show to a Golf Course and a Gondola Lift. Universal says its creative team added a few of its own.
Disney World Scat Cat's Club Café and Lounge both close for refurbishment on October 6. The café is due back in December 2026 and the lounge in January 2027, and in the meantime the beignets and coffee move to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
Universal Orlando The invention drawings scattered around Doc Brown's 1892 blacksmith workshop in Back to the Future: OUTATIME were drawn for Back to the Future Part III. They never made the final cut, and Universal says it got permission from Universal Pictures to use them.
Disney World Frontier Developments will develop and publish a new game built on Disney intellectual property. There is no title, no named franchise, no platform and no release date, and Frontier says it is funding the entire project.
SeaWorld Orlando The public tickets page advertises a floor of $45.99, and the Any Night Ticket sells online for $69.99. Pass Members who walk into the Pass Member Lounge can buy the same Any Night Ticket for $31. The window was extended to September 6, which is five days before Howl-O-Scream opens, so nobody can buy one on a night they could use it.
Universal Orlando Three days, three parks, one park per day on the base ticket, from $99 a day for everyone and $85 a day for Florida residents, or $255 before tax. The Florida resident version is online only and has to be used by December 23. A separate Florida resident offer takes up to 35 percent off rooms at four hotels Sunday through Thursday.
Disney World The gift shop next to the Haunted Mansion entrance is not closed for Piston Peak construction. It is gone, and the Mike Fink Keel Boats landing beside it came down back in May. Construction walls sealed the last open stretch of boardwalk this week, and Disney has started papering them with vintage style Frontierland ads referencing Doctor Terminus, Slue-Foot Sue and the Hundred Acre Wood.
Disney World Disney published its fall snack and drink lineup on Thursday, 46 listed items across four theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs and more than a dozen resort locations. Exactly three locations carry a Coming in 2027 tag, and two of them are at Typhoon Lagoon, which closes September 9 with no reopening date announced. Blizzard Beach's two items arrive this fall with no delay attached.
Legoland Florida Three days after Legoland Florida rebuilt its annual passes, the Monthly Pay page has caught up. It now offers Preferred at $15 a month and Premium at $19 a month, and the terms say the plan is limited to those two. The $179 Standard pass, the cheapest and the one the park leads with, has no monthly option. The cheapest monthly route into the resort now costs $55.50 more across a first year than the Silver plan it replaced.
