Vuori opens at Disney Springs on Friday, October 16, according to a Disney Parks Blog roundup of Disney Springs Halloween happenings published the same morning. The California performance apparel brand takes over the Town Center storefront that Shore left empty when it closed in May.

How the store got here

This one took about five months from empty storefront to open doors. WDW News Today reports that Shore closed permanently in early May after a clearance sale, a permit soon pointed to Vuori as the next tenant, and Disney Springs confirmed the store in June.

Disney then filed a permit for signage in late September, and WDW News Today saw the large white Vuori sign installed above the main entrance on Wednesday, October 7. The awnings over the storefront were also repainted, from solid black to tan with black frames.

What you can buy

Disney's listing for the store says Vuori was born in Encinitas, California, and sells joggers, leggings, shorts, tops, hoodies, sports bras, jackets and vests, plus jeans and pants meant to go from work to working out. The Disney Parks Blog pitches it as performance apparel and lifestyle essentials, for a morning workout or a long park day.

What Disney did not say

Disney's announcement did not include store hours, opening-day offers or anything exclusive to the Disney Springs location. When we checked on the morning of October 16, Disney's own listing for the store still labeled it Coming soon. Check the My Disney Experience app for hours before you plan a stop around it.

Where it is: Town Center, in the former Shore storefront. Standard self-parking at Disney Springs is free, and there is no ticket or reservation needed to shop.

A busy few weeks for Town Center and the Marketplace

Vuori is the second new Town Center store in under three weeks. Cole Haan opened on September 29 in the former Johnston & Murphy space, and Six Ravens, the savory bakery from the team behind Gideon's Bakehouse, holds its grand opening on Saturday, October 17.

The same Disney post says Kawaii Slime Company opens soon at Disney Springs. The shop will let guests customize their own slime, choosing scents, colors, textures and add-ins, and will also sell squishies and sensory toys. Disney has not said where in Disney Springs it will be or when it opens.

Also in the Marketplace: the Disney PhotoPass Studio, between Arribas Brothers and the Marketplace Co-Op, now runs an immersive photo experience with sets themed to Frozen, Andy's and Bonnie's rooms from Toy Story, and the lairs of Disney Villains. Disney says it is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., needs no reservation, and costs nothing to have photos taken. You pay only if you buy the photos, and Memory Maker covers the downloads.
