A guest-shot TikTok video that went viral this week shows flames beneath at least one PeopleMover vehicle on the return side of the track at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday June 9. The guest alerted cast members; the attraction went down around midday and was running again roughly 35 minutes later. No injuries were reported, and Disney has not publicly addressed the video. A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the northwest coast of Cuba at 2:00:28 p.m. ET today, with tremors felt across Central Florida including Walt Disney World. Disney temporarily closed more than 10 attractions for safety inspections, concentrated at Magic Kingdom, with single closures at EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. By 5:40 p.m. ET all rides had reopened except Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. No injuries, no property damage, and no tsunami warning were reported.

Disney Springs parking garages and rideshare loops will not open until 7 a.m. on Pin Tuesday and other merchandise-event days, starting Tuesday, June 2.
