A Walt Disney World monorail headed to EPCOT on September 8 lost power after a lightning strike, and a passenger says riders were stuck for an hour and a half. She says the driver talked them through taking out a window, and that guest relations handed out water, $50 Disney gift cards and Lightning Lane passes once they were off the train.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will play Earth, Wind and Fire's "September" all day on Monday, September 21. Disney is also pointing fans to a Star-Lord meet and to the Supernova Sip, a new drink sold at Connections Café and Eatery on September 21 only.
Journey Into Imagination With Figment The miniature Dreamfinder that Walt Disney Imagineering showed off in EPCOT's Germany train village on August 21 has been removed, and nothing has taken his place. Dr. Grant Seeker from DINOSAUR is gone too, with a police officer figure now standing on the platform where he was. Disney has not said why.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Two TikTok videos from September 12 show two men and their families clashing in the queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, and one shows the fight turning physical. A security guard stepped between them, and WDW News Today says it does not know whether either guest was removed.
Le Cellier Steakhouse The 2026 EPCOT Candlelight Processional dining package prices are out, and both Japan pavilion restaurants on the list got cheaper while almost everything else rose. Teppan Edo falls $21 and Shiki-Sai falls $14. Tutto Italia jumps $8, Le Cellier takes over the top spot at $109, and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is back on the list after sitting out 2025. Booking opens October 14.
Living with the Land Disney has set September 24 as the booking date for Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses, the after-dark walk through the working greenhouses in The Land. The one hour tour runs nightly from November 27 to December 30 at 6, 7 and 8 p.m., and WDWMagic reports the price is holding at $59, the same as last year.
