Tony's Town Square Adds a $35 Lasagna as Three Magic Kingdom Restaurants Roll Out New Dishes

Tony's Town Square has a new $35 Lasagna alla Bolognese. It is one of seven new dishes at three Magic Kingdom table-service restaurants, and on Friday, October 16, WDWMagic posted Disney photos of all of them, plus a Steamboat Willie milk shake that WDW News Today first reviewed a week earlier.

The additions are spread across Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland, The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A., and Tony's Town Square Restaurant near the park entrance. WDWMagic and WDW News Today both posted the full list that morning. The breakdown by restaurant is below.

Tony's Town Square: three Italian additions

  • Lasagna alla Bolognese, $35: meat sauce layered with mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan and Pecorino Romano.
  • Eggplant Parmigiana (plant-based), $32: lightly breaded eggplant baked in Tony's Marinara Sauce, topped with plant-based mozzarella and served with spaghetti.
  • Insalata della Casa, $12: greens, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber and pepperoncini in a balsamic vinaigrette.

Be Our Guest: beef, truffle fries and lobster mac

Be Our Guest gets three new dishes. Neither WDWMagic nor WDW News Today lists individual prices for them.

  • Beef Bourguignon en Croute: beef slow-cooked in red wine with potatoes, root vegetables, smoked bacon and bone marrow, under a pastry crust.
  • Truffle Pomme Frites: fries with Parmesan cheese and a black garlic-truffle aioli.
  • Lobster Macaroni au Gratin: macaroni in sauce Mornay.

The Plaza: a $23 wedge salad and a $13 shake

  • Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad, $23: hard-boiled egg, avocado puree, tomatoes, cracked pepper and Thousand Island dressing.
  • Steamboat Willie Milk Shake, $13: hand-dipped cookies 'n cream ice cream with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, a sugar cookie and a cherry.

The shake is the one item here that is not brand new. WDW News Today reviewed it on October 9, when it noted that The Plaza still serves its chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and mint chocolate chip shakes for $9. So the Steamboat Willie version runs $4 more than the classics.

How to try them

You can book a table at any of the three in the My Disney Experience app.

So which one are you booking: the $35 lasagna, the bourguignon at Be Our Guest, or a $13 shake on Main Street?
