Opening Night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Finally Sells Out, More Than Five Weeks Later Than Last Year

Opening night held out for a long time. Not anymore. Sunday, November 8, the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of the 2026 season, is sold out, according to WDWMagic and WDW News Today, both reporting on Saturday, October 17.

That makes nine sold-out party nights so far. With November 8 gone, the earliest party still on sale is Sunday, November 15.

Why this one is different

In the last two seasons, opening night went first. According to WDWMagic's tracking, it led the sellouts in both 2024 and 2025: November 8 went on September 3 in 2024, and the 2025 opener went on September 10.

This year it was the ninth date to sell out, not the first. As we reported on September 29, the first 2026 sellout was Tuesday, November 24, which WDWMagic dates to September 28. Opening night lasted until October 17, which WDWMagic calls "more than five weeks later than last year."

October has been busy

The slow start did not last. According to WDWMagic's tracker, eight of the nine sellouts happened in October:

  • October 2 and 3: December 22 and December 20, the last two parties of the season, both at $229 (our story here)
  • October 4: November 12
  • October 8: November 17
  • October 9: November 9
  • October 10: December 1
  • October 15: November 13
  • October 17: November 8, opening night, which WDWMagic lists at $199

WDWMagic expects the remaining November nights "will likely follow quickly," and points out that last year, all of the November nights had sold out by November 3.

What you can still book

Sixteen dates were still on sale as of WDW News Today's Saturday report. Prices below are the per-ticket prices WDWMagic lists for each night:

  • November: 15 ($194), 19 ($194), 20 ($199), 25 ($209), 27 ($219), 29 ($214)

Disney's own event page puts tickets at "$189 to $229 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date)." Kids ages 3 to 9 pay $10 less, and Disney's page offers Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members $10 off on select nights between November 8 and 20 and between November 29 and December 3.

The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight at Magic Kingdom, and ticket holders can enter the park starting at 4 p.m. WDWMagic says tickets can be bought online or by calling 407-934-7639.

If a cheaper November party is on your list, the $194 nights (November 15 and 19) are the ones to grab first. Which night are you going for?
