Disney World On September 1, 10 Not-So-Scary nights were still on sale. Now it is three: Thursday, September 24 ($174), Tuesday, September 29 ($184) and Sunday, October 25 ($224). Last year the whole season was gone by September 24.
Disney World WDW News Today reports that scaffolding now covers the entire front of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the latest stage of an exterior refurbishment that started in the queue in May. The ride is still open, and crews left gaps in the scaffolding for its windows.
Disney World The miniature Dreamfinder that Walt Disney Imagineering showed off in EPCOT's Germany train village on August 21 has been removed, and nothing has taken his place. Dr. Grant Seeker from DINOSAUR is gone too, with a police officer figure now standing on the platform where he was. Disney has not said why.
Disney World The Disney Vacation Club member vacation photos that lined the walls of Olivia's Cafe are all gone, replaced by a ship's wheel, anchors and wooden fish. The pictures were not thrown out: they now sit in 16 Family Album: Meet Our Members! photo albums on a bookshelf in Conch Flats Community Hall at Disney's Old Key West Resort, and a framed flyer invites members to submit more.
Disney World Matthew Eric Jenkins, 20, of Shelby Township, Michigan, died on the evening of Tuesday, September 8 after being struck by lightning on a walking path in Celebration, the Osceola County community near Walt Disney World. Deputies responded at about 6:25 p.m. Bystanders performed CPR. The medical examiner has since ruled his death an accident, with the cause electrocution by a lightning strike. Disney says he had just begun his College Program.
SeaWorld Orlando SeaWorld Orlando's picnic at Ports of Call is on Sunday, September 20. Its event page lists two tickets side by side: the Service Member and Veteran ticket carries no availability caveat, while the Pass Member ticket sits under the label Available soon. The same page names the salad three times and calls it two different things, and the event goes by four different names across five SeaWorld surfaces.
Disney World Disney's Hollywood Studios let guests walk into its new animation complex on Friday morning, three days before the September 14 date Disney had been advertising. Everything inside was open: Olaf Draws!, the Off the Page! character meets, Drawn to Wonderland, the Once Upon a Studio Theater and the art gallery. The in person waitlist for Olaf Draws! was not switched on, and as of Saturday afternoon the official attraction page still reads Opening September 14! with no showtimes listed.
Legoland Florida A Legoland Florida blog published Saturday morning finally says how the Brick or Treat ride overlays work. The Department of Monster Vehicles is in LEGO City and adds glowing ectoplasm spots riders can hit, triggered fog and lighting, radio commentary from HEX-M and monster themed vehicle decals. The park's own event page has listed it for more than three weeks and still does not name the ride or the land.
SeaWorld Orlando A splash pad called Waterfront Water Works is now the last entry on SeaWorld Orlando's rides page, and it was not there in July. The attraction page carries its description followed by an unedited instruction: "On the SeaWorld Orlando Ride page can we also update the copy to the one mentioned and also add the tag Kid Friendly". One half of that request, the tag, is in place.
Disney World Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin cut the ribbon on a $275 million expansion, and now calls itself "the largest convention hotel on the US Eastern Seaboard." The new ballroom and multi-function space measure up almost exactly. The pre-function space does not: the resort's own capacity chart totals 27,456 square feet against the 38,000 its marketing claims, and its two marketing pages disagree about which floor has more.
Universal Orlando Skull Island: Reign of Kong last posted a full day of wait times on Wednesday, August 26. It has been closed ever since, apart from a single 5 minute wait posted on the evening of August 31, and there is no announced reopening date. In the themeparks.wiki live feed the ride's record is frozen at 00:55:51 UTC on September 10, eight milliseconds from Jurassic Park River Adventure, which is in an announced refurbishment and is due back on November 20.
Legoland Florida The park rewrote its school groups page this afternoon. The rate card had been sitting on last school year's expired dates since at least July, and the new Miss Rabbit's Diner meal deal starts at $12, the same as the ticket itself.
SeaWorld Orlando Terry Morse and her husband saw a yellow buoy moving with a manatee in the Indian River Lagoon and watched her for hours before calling for help. The manatee, which SeaWorld puts at more than 1,400 pounds, arrived at SeaWorld Orlando on August 27, and veterinarians could not save her right pectoral flipper.
Disney World Disney's granted 2025 patent on show drones required thematic cladding in all three of its independent claims. The continuation the patent office published Thursday runs 20 claims and not one of them uses the word.
Legoland Florida Legoland Florida published a Christmas Bricktacular planning guide this morning. It says the event runs November 21 through January 3, four separate times. Then its one piece of booking advice points at offers for a holiday trip through October 31, which is the Brick or Treat Getaway, a Halloween deal whose booking window closes September 28. The guide also never mentions the LEGO carrots, the Festival of Flurries or any of the event's characters apart from LEGO Santa.
Universal Orlando Universal announced it on its own blog on Wednesday, and Attractions Magazine got inside on Friday afternoon with the first two prices. From September 12, the bar areas inside Universal's Great Movie Escape at CityWalk get a The Traitors: New Blood overlay with Scottish Highland decor, two separate beverage menus totaling 10 drinks, and two authentic costumes worn by host Alan Cumming as a photo op. CityWalk's Rising Star follows on September 21 with a The Voice takeover and two more cocktails.
SeaWorld Orlando SeaWorld Orlando's September pass member page was updated at 10:45 this morning with an offer tagged "ADDED!" The first 1,000 kids aged 12 and under with an active Annual Pass or Preschool Card get a free trick-or-treat bag on each of September 12 and 13. The body copy says collect it at Under the Sun Shoppes at Waterfront. The fine print on the same page says redeem it at the park entrance. Trick-or-treating at Spooktacular normally requires buying a bag.
Disney World The new roadway entrance opened Thursday, and the turn drivers are now supposed to take is still marked Service & Authorized Vehicles Only. The gate itself has not moved. Getting to it now means the northern roundabout, a pass by the Cast Member parking lot, a right at the signal, and one open lane of the old Floridian Way. The old exit is sealed with concrete barriers, and getting out of the overflow dining lot is close to a full loop.
Legoland Florida PEPPA PIG Theme Park Florida's Halloween event is listed on two of the park's own pages with two different date lists. The event page says 11 dates including Fridays October 9 and 16. The blog's table says weekends only, matching the announcement the park sent to press.
Universal Orlando A menu tracker's nightly diff caught twelve lines changing on The Cowfish kids menu in a single run. Four entrees are gone, the five that survived each went up exactly one dollar, and soda, milk and juice are now priced separately where no kids drink had been listed at all. Two other Universal Orlando menus moved the same night.
Disney World WDW News Today found Tapatio hot sauce packets where the Tabasco used to be at ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios, alongside four brand new Heinz pump dispensers. Tapatio is not a Kraft Heinz brand, and nothing on the record ties the two changes to the same decision.
SeaWorld Orlando The 2026 event map went up on SeaWorld Orlando's Howl-O-Scream page on Thursday afternoon, less than 30 hours before the first night. On Tuesday the park's food page finally gave four of the five new bars a venue and left The Rewind with none. The map puts it on the ground, just inside the event entrance, and it backs up the venue list for the other four. It also shows something the text pages never said: most of the bars have been placed next to the house or scare zone they share a theme with.
Universal Orlando Universal has published Epic Universe hours through the end of October, and one Saturday does not look like the others. October 10 opens early at 9 a.m. with Early Park Admission at 8, then shuts at 6 p.m. Every other October date at the park closes at 8. Islands of Adventure stays open until 9 that same night, and October 10 is not one of the announced Universal Nights dates.
Disney World Disney put operating hours on its website for the Hollywood Studios attraction that opens Monday, and they are not the same all month. It runs to park close for the first two weeks, then drops to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from September 28. Separately, Olaf Draws! will use a virtual queue you cannot join in the app. You have to walk up to the venue and put your name down in person.
SeaWorld Orlando The benefits page now says its terms apply to new purchases as of 9/8/2026. The 2027 guest ticket chart, uploaded September 8, gives Platinum one ticket in each of eight windows where 2026 gave two tickets in each of four. Annual totals are unchanged at 3, 5 and 8. A double discount on food and beverage that the page carried in May is gone, and the concert count dropped from over 30 to over 25.
Legoland Florida The holidays page was rewritten Thursday. The event is no longer Holidays at LEGOLAND, a name it has carried in every archived version of that page since 2020, but Christmas Bricktacular is not new either: the park used it through 2018. Three things are new for 2026: a festive drone show with LEGO Santa, a Rap Battle show Legoland calls its first ever, and an interactive light trail. Four activities that were listed in August are gone from the page, and the page's own title tag still has not caught up.
Disney World Disney rewrote the Tropical Americas entry on the Coming to the Parks list at DisneyWorld.com on Thursday. Tropical Americas lost the Pueblo Esperanza subtitle and the words "in 2027". Monstropolis, which carried no year in June, now says parts of it open in 2027. Disney has said nothing about a delay, and the Disney Parks Blog still says 2027 twice.
SeaWorld Orlando The Taste the Terror page went from Information Coming Soon to 17 numbered locations on Tuesday afternoon. Resurrection Club is at Glacier Bar, Byte Bar at Waterway Bar, Black Sheep at Flamecraft Bar and Larva Lounge at Pipeline Carnival Bar. The tres leches is gone and Pizza Rolls is finally spelled correctly.
Legoland Florida Legoland has now published a page for all six houses on Brick or Treat Street. The Mummy's tomb pairs glowing glyphs and a water splash with a comedic toilet flush sound effect, and runs about 20 to 30 seconds. The park also quietly named The Dragon's Halloween storyline The Sweet Escape.
Universal Orlando The blood-splattered UOAP Passholder magnet arrives October 1 at the UOAP Lounge in Islands of Adventure and The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida. Passholders do not need to attend the event to pick one up, and the current wristlet keychain runs only through September 30.
