All-Star Music's Singing Spirits Pool Bar Is Closing for a Refurbishment That Could Run Into 2027

Staying at Disney's All-Star Music Resort this holiday season? Plan your poolside cocktail run accordingly. The Singing Spirits Pool Bar, the walk-up bar by the guitar-shaped Calypso Pool, is closing for a refurbishment, but the reports so far give different dates: WDWMagic says November 2, and WDW News Today says Wednesday, November 11.

What we know

  • Closing date: WDWMagic reports the bar "is closing for refurbishment on November 2, 2026." WDW News Today, citing the Walt Disney World website, says the bar "will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday, November 11, 2026."
  • How long: WDWMagic reports the bar "is expected to remain closed through early 2027." We found no reopening date on Disney's website.
  • A stand-in bar: WDWMagic also says "A temporary pool bar will be set up nearby while the work is underway," and that Disney says guests may see and hear construction work nearby during the day.

Why the dates don't match

Disney's online schedule for the bar shows its usual noon to 11pm hours on November 2 and every day through Tuesday, November 10, then no hours from November 11 through December 27. That gap is not unique to the bar, though. When we checked on October 25, the Intermission Food Court at the same resort and the World Premiere Food Court at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort showed the same blank stretch, and all three venues, the bar included, showed hours again for December 28 through 31. So the gaps look like hours Disney has not loaded yet for the All-Star resorts, and on their own they do not show when the bar closes.

In other words, Disney's calendar does not settle it either way. We found no closure notice on Disney's website giving either date, and closure dates can move, so check the bar's page in the My Disney Experience app before you count on a drink there in November.

WDW News Today reported that Disney had not officially announced a reason for the closure; WDWMagic describes it as a refurbishment. When we checked on October 25, neither the bar's dining page nor the resort's page carried a refurbishment notice, and WDW News Today found none on the resort's page when it reported the closure.

What you'll be missing

Disney's own description of the bar promises "a chorus of specialty cocktails, draft beers, sangria and wine," enjoyed by the Calypso Pool. The dining page lists it as a quick service kiosk where some dining plans are accepted.

If WDWMagic's temporary bar shows up as described, Calypso Pool guests should still have a poolside drink option nearby this winter. We will update this when Disney confirms the dates.
