The Grinch is taking a little more of your Christmas budget this year. Universal Islands of Adventure is now taking reservations for The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast, and the kids price is up 18 percent.

WDW News Today reported on Tuesday, October 27 that bookings are open, and that "One adult is $64.99 and one kid is $38.99, $6 more expensive than last year." Last season, WDW News Today listed the breakfast at $58.99 for adults and $32.99 for kids.

The new prices

  • Adults: $64.99, up from $58.99 (about 10 percent).
  • Kids: $38.99, up from $32.99 (about 18 percent).
  • Family of four (two adults, two kids): $207.96 at the listed prices, up from $183.96 last year.

The price covers one plated entree and one non-alcoholic beverage, per WDW News Today.

Last year, the adult price applied to ages 10 and up and the kids price to ages 3 to 9, and the breakfast required separate admission to Islands of Adventure. Confirm both when you book.

When and where

Guests meet the Grinch and his Who friends over breakfast at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Seuss Landing. Reservation times run between 8 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., from Saturday, November 14, 2026 to Sunday, January 3, 2027. Those are the same dates as Universal's resort-wide holiday celebration.

WDW News Today's advice: "Capacity is limited so make your reservation ASAP if you want to experience this holiday offering."

What is on the plate

WDW News Today's report does not include the 2026 menu. Last year's festive menu included Green Eggs & Ham Quiche, a Mrs. Toffee Apple Dapple Cluck Crunch Chicken Sandwich and Betty Lou Who Fluffy Ricotta Pancakes.

The breakfast runs alongside Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, which returns this season along with the rest of Universal's holiday lineup. We rounded up the rest of the season, including the Grinch meet and greet in Seuss Landing, in our October 19 holiday post.

Is breakfast with the Grinch still worth it at $64.99, or is the regular Grinch meet and greet in Seuss Landing enough Who-ville for your family?
