Legoland's $8 Shuttle Now Picks Up Near Universal Orlando, and Its Booking Calendar Runs Through January 3
Two weeks ago, Legoland's $8 shuttle from Orlando looked like it was shrinking to a single stop. Now its booking page lists a second stop, a short hop from Universal.
When you go to buy seats on the LEGOLAND Express, Legoland's booking page now offers two Orlando pickups at the same $8 per seat: "Doubletree/Universal Pick Up" and "ICON Park Pick Up." The ticket description reads: "Round-trip transportation from ICON Park or DoubleTree at Entrance to Universal Orlando to LEGOLAND Florida Resort." Attractions Magazine reported the new stop on Monday, October 26.

The new pickup
- Where: the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, 5780 Major Blvd. The booking page's own note reads: "Pick up from DoubleTree Hotel at Entrance to Universal Orlando (5780 Major Blvd., Orlando, Florida, 32819) is 8:15am".
- The other stop: ICON Park at 8401 International Drive, still at 8:30 a.m.
- Coming back: the return trip leaves 30 minutes after the park closes, so the time changes with park hours.
- Price: $8 per seat from either stop, and the booking page sells an Under 2 ticket at $0.00, though the shuttle page's terms say children 2 and under ride free. A separate $8 ticket reserves a wheelchair space. Park admission is not included.

The booking calendar runs into January
The bigger news for anyone planning a holiday trip is the calendar. When we wrote about the shuttle on October 13, Legoland's blog guide listed the 2026 season as select Thursday to Sunday dates running through October 31. That guide has since been revised and no longer gives an end date. The booking calendar now offers these dates:
- October and November: October 30 and 31, November 1, and November 21 to 29.
- December: December 4 to 6, 11 to 13, and 17 to 31.
- January: January 1 to 3, 2027, the last bookable date on the calendar.
Attractions Magazine listed the same schedule.
Legoland's shuttle page and guide still list only ICON Park
Our October 13 story reported that Legoland had removed the Disney Springs pickup from its shuttle ticket page, leaving ICON Park as the only stop on that page. That page still says the same thing today. The LEGOLAND Express page describes "Round-trip transportation from ICON Park to LEGOLAND Florida Resort," and its pickup FAQ lists only ICON Park. Legoland's shuttle blog guide also still says "ICON Park at 8401 International Drive, Orlando, Florida, is the pickup location."
On Legoland's own site, the DoubleTree option only shows up once you click through to buy. We do not know exactly when it was added, and Attractions Magazine said only that "as of mid-October 2026," Disney Springs was no longer listed on the booking page and the DoubleTree was an option. The magazine also said it had reached out to Legoland to confirm the changes. Disney Springs is still gone from the booking page.

Who this helps
Legoland Florida is in Winter Haven, southwest of Orlando in Polk County, and Attractions Magazine says the shuttle is run by Mears. A pickup at the entrance to Universal gives families staying on that side of town a stop closer to their hotel than ICON Park, a few miles south on International Drive. If you are planning a Christmas week trip, there are shuttle dates on the calendar to book.
Would a stop near Universal get you to try the LEGOLAND Express, or would you still rather drive?
