Universal Has Already Pulled the Display Cars From the Fast & Furious: Supercharged Queue, and Halloween Horror Nights Guests Walk Past the Gaps

The display cars are out of the queue, and paying guests are walking past the gaps.

Fast & Furious: Supercharged closed permanently at Universal Studios Florida on August 17. On August 28, WDW News Today reported that "crews have already removed the cars from the Fast & Furious: Supercharged queue at Universal Studios Florida," leaving gaps where the display vehicles used to sit.

What made the gaps visible is timing: Halloween Horror Nights 35 opened on August 28, and the queue is serving as the line for Cybergoria. That use is not new. Inside Universal reported in July that the attraction went on hiatus in the fall when its queue was used for Halloween Horror Nights. What is different this year is that the ride closed for good before the event began, so there is nothing to reopen when Halloween Horror Nights ends.

Guests are queuing for Cybergoria through the leftovers

WDW News Today notes that "the Supercharged queue is used as a queue for the Cybergoria haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights," and that "guests waiting for the house will notice large empty spaces where cars used to be on display."

The outlet describes two specific gaps. In one room a large truck "is still in place but the Dodge car that was next to it is gone. There are some marks on the floor from where it sat." Elsewhere, "another large empty space with a block is all that's left of a blue car that sat here." Beyond the cars, "other props don't appear to have been removed yet."

Worth being precise here: WDW News Today does not identify the removed vehicles beyond a Dodge and a blue car, does not say when they were taken out, and no other outlet has published its own account of the queue cars being gone, so this is that outlet's report rather than a Universal announcement.

Cybergoria is the house using the queue

Cybergoria was announced in June, with a premise about guests waking thousands of years in the future in a world run by machines. Universal later placed it in the Fast & Furious space in the park's San Francisco area. It is one of the event's ten houses, and Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026.

So on the event's select nights between now and November 1, the way to walk through the queue of a closed Universal attraction is to buy a Halloween Horror Nights ticket and get in line for a different one.

Still no word on what replaces it

Universal has not announced a replacement for Supercharged. What it has confirmed is elsewhere in the same park: Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a roller coaster carrying the same brand, is under construction on the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit site for a 2027 opening.

That leaves the Supercharged show building in an odd position. Its name was gone from the brick the morning after the final ride on August 16, painted over or washed off overnight, its queue is a haunted house line, and its display cars are gone, all before anyone has said what the space becomes.

A Manatee Found Swimming on Her Side in January Went Back Into Crystal River Last Week, and It Was Not Her First Rescue

Citron was pulled from Kings Bay in January with air trapped in her chest cavity from a damaged lung, a condition that can interfere with a manatee's buoyancy and keep her from staying submerged. After months of care at SeaWorld Orlando she was released on August 27 at The Port Hotel and Marina in Crystal River. Laughing Place cites a SeaWorld animal care specialist saying this was not her first rescue, and reports an earlier rescue in 2025.

Universal creatives broke down the Stranger Things 5 house at a media preview panel, and the reveal was technical. Universal says the MAC-Z showdown room is the largest set piece anywhere at Halloween Horror Nights 35.
