Universal's Passholder Discount Store Moves Into the Fast & Furious: Supercharged Exit Shop on Thursday

The deeply discounted store that only Universal Orlando Annual Passholders and Team Members can shop is leaving its cramped Brown Derby home on September 3 for the old Custom Gear shop in San Francisco, which happens to sit at the exit of a ride that closed on August 17. It is the first confirmed new use for any part of the Fast & Furious: Supercharged building, and the message announcing it signed off with a JAWS joke.

Fast & Furious: Supercharged closed for good on August 17. On August 28, WDW News Today reported that the display cars were already gone from its queue, leaving empty floor space and, in one spot, marks on the floor where a car sat. The queue is not sitting idle either: on Halloween Horror Nights 35 event nights it is serving as the line for the Cybergoria haunted house.

Sunday Is the Last Day to Ride Fast & Furious: Supercharged, and Inside Universal Says It Will Run During Passholder Nights

Fast & Furious: Supercharged closes for good on Monday, August 17, which makes Sunday, August 16 the final day to ride it. Inside Universal reports Universal has confirmed the attraction will be open during Passholder Nights on August 15 and 16, so the very last riders are lined up to be annual passholders at a free, reservation only party that is already at capacity.
