Legoland Florida Legoland Florida has pushed the booking deadline for its hotel packages with kids tickets from $39 a day to November 17, 2026, up from November 1. Stays still run through January 9, 2027, and the starting prices of $162 and $152 per person per night have not changed.
SeaWorld Orlando A federal judge in New York signed a scheduling order on October 19 in Sesame Workshop's lawsuit against SeaWorld over the Sesame Street license. The order says the case is to be tried to a jury, keeps discovery open until July 12, 2027, and sets no trial date. SeaWorld's partial motion to dismiss was still pending as of that order.
Disney World Expedition Everest's frozen Yeti now has a constant floodlight on top of its famous strobe, making its fur and fangs far easier to see, and one fan site says the machinery behind it now shows too. It still does not move, and Disney has not said whether the new light has anything to do with the planned fix.
SeaWorld Orlando SeaWorld updated the Journey to Atlantis page on Friday morning with a red notice: the water coaster is closed Monday through Thursday, and runs 11am to 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The notice does not mention Sundays or say how long the schedule lasts.
Universal Orlando A Universal patent application published October 22 describes ride vehicles with their own AI characters that use park cameras, wearable tags and, with permission, phone and app data to tailor the ride to whoever is sitting in it, from greeting you by name to projecting the spiders you fear. It is a filing, not an announced ride.
Disney World Engine No. 71, the red and gold fire engine from the Main Street firehouse, is carrying guests down Main Street, U.S.A. again. It picks up outside the firehouse in Town Square and drops off in front of Cinderella Castle, usually in the mornings.
Disney World Animal Kingdom's nighttime Tree of Life projections come back on Sunday, November 1, the day Daylight Saving Time ends. Disney's calendar shows 6:10pm starts on every listed night, with windows to 8pm on November 1 and 7, to 7pm on November 2, 5 and 6, and no shows at all on November 3 and 4.
Universal Orlando For National Chocolate Day on October 28, The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk is serving six limited dishes from October 25 to 31, including a chocolate crusted blackened halibut, a beef bourguignon with chocolate-mushroom velouté and a white chocolate and coconut lobster. Universal has not posted prices.
Universal Orlando Most ride locker banks at Universal Islands of Adventure have switched from ticket scans to photo validation, the face-matching system Universal Orlando first used at Epic Universe. It is live at Hagrid's, Forbidden Journey, Ripsaw Falls and Hulk, but not yet at VelociCoaster. Guests who would rather not can ask a team member about using their ticket instead.
Disney World Guests at EPCOT's Spaceship Earth are being sent to a side entrance because, Cast Members say, water dripping from the sphere, mainly when it rains, makes the walkway under it too slippery. The ride is open, but the closure has lasted at least a week and Disney has not given a reopening timeline.

Universal Orlando On Comcast's third quarter call, co-CEO Mike Cavanagh named two more causes of Universal's Orlando slump: competitors who adapted their marketing faster, and capacity and ride throughput at Epic Universe. Theme Parks adjusted EBITDA fell 17.1% to $780 million, and he sees Orlando soft into the first half of 2027.
Disney World Foundation concrete is going in for Cars Ridge Run Rally at Piston Peak National Park, even with this week's rain leaving standing water across the site. New aerials show a fresh pour inside a curved retaining wall, beneath the crane's jib.
Disney World Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is scheduled at 2pm on Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11, during regular Magic Kingdom hours, in place of Festival of Fantasy. The timing matches past tapings of ABC's Disney Parks holiday special.
SeaWorld Orlando SeaWorld Orlando has a new five-month-old Pacific walrus calf, Annautaq, rescued on a remote northern Alaska beach and rehabilitated at the Alaska SeaLife Center. He is getting up to six bottle feedings a day during a 30-day quarantine before meeting the park's walrus herd. No public viewing date yet.
Disney World Disney World has posted park hours for December 21 to 31. Magic Kingdom currently opens at 9am every day, an hour later than last Christmas week, and closes at 10pm most nights and midnight on December 30 and New Year's Eve. These are early listings, and hours often grow closer to the date.
Legoland Florida Legoland Florida's opening hours calendar shows LEGOLAND Water Park open only on October 24, 25 and 31 and November 1 for the rest of 2026. After that it shows no water park dates until Saturday, February 13, 2027, when limited, mostly weekend operation starts, with daily operation returning March 5.
SeaWorld Orlando SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando have added another round of free bonus guest tickets: two per Pass Member and one per Fun Card holder, claimable October 19 to 31 and good through October 31. SeaWorld Pass Members and Fun Card holders also get an extra $10 in SeaWorld Bucks from October 19 to 25.
Disney World The Room Requests screen in My Disney Experience now shows a longer, more resort-specific list of choices, like Near Skyliner at Caribbean Beach or Rock Inn Section at All-Star Music. You get two request slots, plus a Prioritize Room Readiness box that puts an early room ahead of both. Requests are still not guaranteed.

Last December the same page started at $34.99. No child ticket was listed when we checked on October 20, and kids under 3 eat free with a reservation.
Disney World Disney's updated refurbishment notice for the Polynesian now says work continues through early 2027, including the front entrance roadway reconfiguration. The wording also changed from all to most resort dining, pools and amenities staying available, and Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace is still listed as closed through late October.
SeaWorld Orlando Two live ride-status feeds showed Mako operating at SeaWorld Orlando on Tuesday, October 20, with a 10-minute wait at 1:10 p.m., a week after the coaster was closed following a rider's death on Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia. Both feeds briefly listed it as closed around 1:20 p.m., then showed it running again by 1:25 p.m. SeaWorld has not announced a reopening.
Universal Orlando Guests waiting for the haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights 35 now hear a rules announcement, recently added according to WDW News Today, telling them not to touch performers, harass others, cut the line or engage in horseplay. Breaking the rules "will result in removal from the event."
Disney World Disney's own listing now says Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents is temporarily unavailable from October 28, with Ariel greeting guests at Echo Lake near 50's Prime Time Cafe. No hours are posted for October 27, and last year she did not move back until January 12.
Universal Orlando NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Universal CityWalk has three new NBA-season dishes: the Onion Hoop, the Slam Dunk Chicken Bacon Ranch Sammie and the PB & Jammm doughnut. A tip-off party with a live DJ and referee stilt walkers runs Tuesday, October 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. Universal has not posted prices.
Disney World Starting October 20, Walt Disney World and Disneyland guests can opt in to have their Disney PhotoPass photos appear automatically in their Shutterfly account. Disney Cruise Line and Aulani follow in early 2027, and Shutterfly.com gets a new Disney shopping hub with park-inspired designs sold only there.

The child price went the other way, up $1 to $14.99. Both are still above the $17.99 and $12.99 an archived 2024 listing showed. Select dates run November 7 to December 19.
Universal Orlando A ceiling fan fell in the Stardust Racers queue at Epic Universe on Sunday, October 18. The guest who filmed it says it narrowly missed guests; a commenter says it hit a guest. The coaster appears to have stayed closed for the rest of the day, and it was running again Monday evening.
