Your Disney PhotoPass Photos Can Now Drop Straight Into Shutterfly, as Shutterfly Becomes Disney World and Disneyland's Official Photo Gift Partner
Those PhotoPass shots of your family in front of Cinderella Castle no longer need a download-and-upload detour to end up in a photo book. As of Tuesday, October 20, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests can opt in to have their Disney PhotoPass photos show up automatically in their Shutterfly account, ready to become photo books, cards and gifts.
The sync is part of a new deal Shutterfly and Disney announced on Tuesday morning that makes Shutterfly the "Official Photo Gift Partner" of Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

How the PhotoPass link works
According to the announcement, guests can "opt to have their Disney PhotoPass photos automatically appear in their Shutterfly account, making it simple to store, revisit and transform beloved photos into photo books, cards, gifts and other personalized keepsakes." In other words, you link your Disney PhotoPass account to Shutterfly once, and the photos follow on their own. Blog Mickey stresses that "The connection works on an opt-in basis," so nothing moves until you turn it on.
The rollout is staggered:
- Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort: available starting October 20, 2026
- Disney Cruise Line and Aulani: "a similar experience starting in early 2027," which Blog Mickey reports will connect Disney Cruise Line Photo as well
The announcement does not spell out whether photos you have not purchased through Disney (for example with Memory Maker) are included in the sync, so check your linked account before you plan a holiday card around a shot you have not bought.

A new Disney shop on Shutterfly.com
The second half of the deal is merchandise. Shutterfly is opening a Disney shopping hub on Shutterfly.com stocked with personalized photo books, cards, ornaments, games, home decor and other custom gifts. The headline items are Disney Parks-inspired collections that the release says are "available only at Shutterfly.com," with themes for all four Walt Disney World parks (Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) plus Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. More collections are "planned over time."
Shutterfly, which already sold Disney character products, is also adding more designs from Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Cars and Mickey & Friends.

The product images Disney released show those photo books starting at a sale price of $22.24, down from $31.98, and Disney wall calendars starting at $32.89, down from $46.98. Those are sale prices shown at launch, not list prices, so expect them to move.

What Disney and Shutterfly are saying
"Together with Shutterfly, we're making it easier for guests to bring those memories into their everyday lives through personalized keepsakes they can revisit and share for years to come," said Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President, Disney Products & Experiences.
Shutterfly CEO Emily Whittaker said the alliance "creates a seamless connection between the moment and the memory."
The deal also lands just as holiday card season gets going. Will you link your PhotoPass account, or do your park photos live happily on your phone forever?
