Jingle Cruise Returns to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, November 3, Taking Over From Jungle Cruise After November 2

Magic Kingdom's annual holiday makeover of Jungle Cruise now has a date. Jingle Cruise, the punny Christmas version of Jungle Cruise, returns on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

WDW News Today and WDWMagic both reported the date on Friday, October 9. Disney has posted operating hours for the overlay, as a WDWMagic forum member noted in a post shown beneath the site's story: "Disney has added operating hours for Jingle Cruise starting November 3, 2026."

We checked Disney's schedule

When we checked Walt Disney World's attraction schedule on Saturday, October 10, it showed the handoff day by day:

  • Monday, November 2: Jungle Cruise listed as operating 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Jingle Cruise listed as closed
  • Tuesday, November 3: Jingle Cruise listed as operating 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Jungle Cruise listed as closed

Those are the hours Disney shows today, and attraction hours can change before the date, so check the My Disney Experience app closer to your visit. Disney's own Jingle Cruise page does not give an end date. It says the holiday version is there "for a limited time" and that Jungle Cruise "will return early next year." WDWMagic said last year that the overlay typically wraps up in early January.

An overnight makeover

The schedule lines up with how the swap works. Last December, Disney Unscripted went behind the scenes of the transformation, and WDWMagic described the episode as following Cast Members and Skippers who start work before sunrise to finish the overlay before guests arrive.

What they install, according to WDWMagic, is holiday props dressing up familiar scenes, wrapped gifts floating in the water, and refreshed signs along the queue. Disney's attraction page invites guests to "Join the homesick Jungle Cruise skippers as they set out on a holly, jolly journey packed with silly shenanigans." WDW News Today adds that "the boats have punny new holiday names, and even the jokes receive a festive makeover."

Same date as last year's schedule

Last year Jingle Cruise was scheduled to return on November 3, a Monday in 2025. In 2024 it was scheduled to return on Saturday, November 2. WDWMagic noted last year that the overlay tends to arrive several days before the park's other big holiday additions, including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the complete set of holiday decorations. This year, Disney lists the party's first night as Sunday, November 8.

That makes it an early-November bonus. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights through October 31, and three days after Halloween, Adventureland is already celebrating Christmas.

Planning tips

WDWMagic says Jingle Cruise lines typically build once the holidays are in full swing, especially in December. For shorter waits, it suggests riding early in the morning or late in the evening, or going on a weekday in early November.

Jingle Cruise uses the regular Jungle Cruise queue. WDWMagic notes that Lightning Lane can be used to bypass the standby line on busier days.
