Universal Studios FloridaUniversal moved the closure up by roughly a year, from the previously announced 2027 to August 16, 2026, telling Annual Passholders around July 15, 2026. The final operating day is August 16; the ride is closed from August 17. Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift takes the site in 2027. Universal has not said why the timeline moved up.
