Universal keeps stacking the Halloween Horror Nights 35 lineup, and the newest reveal is a first: a Hellraiser haunted house, the debut of Clive Barker's Cenobites at HHN. It is coming to both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, and the original Pinhead, Doug Bradley, is back to voice the character.

The headlines:

  • House: Hellraiser, the first time the franchise has been adapted into an HHN maze.
  • Announced: June 30, 2026. Debuts at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
  • Source material: the original trilogy, Hellraiser (1987), Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), from Clive Barker.
  • The walkthrough: guests open the Lament Configuration puzzle box and move through the attic of Frank Cotton's family home, the Channard Institute, and the Labyrinth, where Pinhead waits.
  • Voice of Pinhead: Doug Bradley, the original film actor, reprises the role for both coasts.

Where it fits in HHN 35

HHN 35, the 35th-anniversary event, is building toward a reported ten houses in Orlando. Previously announced houses include Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Cybergoria, and H.R. Bloodengutz presents: Halloween Fright-Tacular, with Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow returning as event icons. Hellraiser joins the licensed side of the lineup alongside Stranger Things 5 and Sinners.

Dates and merch

  • Orlando: HHN 35 runs select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026 at Universal Studios Florida.
  • Hollywood: Universal Studios Hollywood starts its run September 3, 2026.
  • Merchandise: a limited-release Hellraiser shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure (compatible with the separately sold Infernal Carnival display) are in the parks now, and online at shopUniversal.com starting July 1 at 9 a.m. PT.

Quick planner notes

  • Like all Halloween Horror Nights houses, this is an intense experience and not kid-friendly.
  • Tickets, Express Passes, and multi-night passes for HHN 35 are sold through the official event site.
  • If you collect HHN merch, the Pinhead acrylic figure ties into the Infernal Carnival collectible display line, sold separately.

Universal published a room by room walkthrough of the Sinners haunted house one day before Halloween Horror Nights 35 opens. Show director Ramon Paradoa says the team locked the surreal montage set first and designed the scenes before and after it around that, which he says is not always how Universal builds a house. The Sinners house was not on the paid lights on tour that matched three other HHN 35 houses to their codenames last week.
