Earl the Squirrel's 2026 Collection Is on Shelves at Islands of Adventure, From a $16 Magnet to an $85 Spirit Jersey

Earl the Squirrel has not even floated down a New York street yet, and a new Earl collection, balloon shirts included, is already on the racks.

When Universal announced on October 28 that its holiday mascot would become a giant balloon in the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the release promised "all-new merchandise" and included a photo of the Spirit Jersey's back, but named no items or prices. Now the collection has turned up at Islands of Adventure, and WDW News Today has listed the seven pieces it found, with prices. The three shirts are themed to the balloon itself, under the slogan "Deck the Skies."

The seven pieces and what they cost

• Tote Bag, $45. Dark red, with Earl in his plaid hat and scarf and string lights that spell out "Universal Studios."
• Raglan Shirt, $35. Heather gray with red sleeves. The back art adds a Christmas tree, the archway, two Macy's stars and Gerg the Llama.
• Hat, $35. Modeled on Earl's own winter cap, in red and black plaid with faux fur trim, flaps and a patch of Earl peeking through a wreath on the front.
• Youth T-Shirt, $25. Red, with the raglan's balloon artwork framed in Christmas lights.

Where to find it

WDW News Today found the collection at Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe and Island Market and Export Candy Shoppe, which it lists together as one location, in the Port of Entry area at the front of Islands of Adventure. That is more than a week ahead of Universal's holiday season, which officially runs from November 14, 2026 to January 3, 2027.

Universal's release also said this year's Holiday Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida is themed to the Macy's parade and will carry Earl merchandise, "featuring apparel, accessories and collectibles honoring the mischievous squirrel."

The balloon these are celebrating

According to Universal, the Earl balloon stands 30.4 feet tall and 14.5 feet wide and shows him "holding a blue Christmas light while sporting his signature winter cap." It debuts in the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 26, which airs on NBC, Peacock and Telemundo from 8:30 a.m. in all time zones. Universal says the balloon will then join Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's at Universal Studios Florida starting in early December.

If you would rather meet the real thing, Universal says Earl will greet guests daily at Universal Studios Florida from November 14, and on weekends at Universal CityWalk.
