Impressions de France Gets Its Evening Showings Back for 2027, a Day After Disney's Schedule Left Them Off

Good news for anyone who ends an EPCOT night in a dark theater watching France roll by: the evening showings of Impressions de France are back on the 2027 calendar.

On Monday, November 2, Disney's schedule for the film listed only a 9:00 to 9:30am window from January 1, 2027, and we reported that the evening block was gone. By Tuesday afternoon it had returned. When we checked Disney's schedule for the film on Tuesday evening, November 3, January dates listed two windows again: 9:00 to 9:30am and 7:00 to 8:45pm.

What the schedule says now

  • Every January date through January 13: 9:00 to 9:30am and 7:00 to 8:45pm, the same split the film runs now. Blog Mickey reports that the My Disney Experience app shows both windows on every date from January 1 through January 13, and Disney's online schedule matched on every date we checked (January 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13).
  • After January 13: no hours are listed yet. That appears to be where Disney's loaded schedule currently ends, and Disney has not announced a closure.
  • In between: the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along still has the theater for the middle of the day, closing at 6:30pm, according to Blog Mickey.

The three late-opening days

On Monday, Blog Mickey reported that the schedule showed no Impressions de France hours at all on January 7, 9 and 10, the three days EPCOT opens late at 10:00am. Those dates now carry the same two windows as every other day, including the 9:00am one.

That morning slot looks like a scheduling error. As Blog Mickey points out, regular guests cannot get into EPCOT until 10:00am on those days, and its October 31 report says Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort hotel guests does not start until 9:30am, so a showing window that closes at 9:30am is not one any guest can realistically use. If you are in the park on January 7, 9 or 10, plan on the evening showings. Blog Mickey says the Sing-Along starts at 11:00am on those dates.

Glitch, then fix?

Disney has not said. Blog Mickey, which reported the missing evening hours on Monday, writes that Disney "hasn't said why the evening hours were missing and didn't respond to requests for comment." WDW News Today describes it as a correction: "They have now corrected the website, and Impressions de France will continue to be performed in the early morning and evening of the new year."

It would not be the first time this film's evening hours have vanished and reappeared within days. In March 2023, Disney cut Impressions de France to a 9:00 to 9:30am window on March 7 and restored the 7:00 to 8:45pm showings on March 10, according to Blog Mickey's timeline. This time the evening window was back about a day after the gap was reported.

If you want an evening showing

The film runs 18 minutes, and the evening window is an hour and 45 minutes long, so you can catch more than one showing before the last window closes at 8:45pm. Blog Mickey notes that Luminous The Symphony of Us is listed at 9:00pm each night from January 1 through January 13, so a late showing lets you walk out of France and toward World Showcase Lagoon with a few minutes to spare.

Schedules change, and this one has already been corrected once since the 2027 dates went up, so check the My Disney Experience app before you plan your night around it.

Are you an Impressions de France at 8pm person, or a rope-drop-the-France-pavilion person?
