EPCOT's Impressions de France Drops Its Evening Showings in 2027, Leaving a 30-Minute Morning Window
If Impressions de France is how you end an EPCOT evening, you have until New Year's Eve. Starting Friday, January 1, 2027, Disney's schedule for Impressions de France has no evening showings at all.
Blog Mickey reported the change on Monday morning, citing the My Disney Experience app. We checked Disney's own online schedule for the film the same morning and saw the same thing.

What the schedule says
- Now through December 31, 2026: two windows a day, 9:00 to 9:30am and 7:00 to 8:45pm. Disney's schedule still shows both on New Year's Eve.
- From January 1, 2027: 9:00 to 9:30am only. The evening block is missing from every 2027 date we checked (January 2, 5, 8 and 12).
- January 7, 9 and 10: no Impressions de France hours at all (we confirmed January 7 and 9 on Disney's schedule; Blog Mickey reports January 10 too). EPCOT opens late, at 10am, on those Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend dates, according to Blog Mickey.
The film shares the Palais du Cinéma with the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, which keeps its usual 10:00am to 6:30pm hours in January (on January 7, 9 and 10, when EPCOT opens late, it starts at 11:00am). What is odd is the gap after it. Nothing is listed in place of the evening film: in Blog Mickey's words, "The 2027 schedule leaves those hours empty, with no films listed in the Palais du Cinéma after 6:30pm."

Error or exit?
It is not clear yet, and Blog Mickey is upfront that it could be a glitch: "It’s possible that the lack of evening Impressions showtimes and no backfill indicates an error." The outlet says it asked Disney World for clarification and has not heard back.
We did rule out one boring explanation. Disney's schedules sometimes go blank simply because later hours have not been loaded yet, so we checked two neighboring World Showcase films on the same dates. Reflections of China and Canada Far and Wide both still show 9:00am to 9:00pm hours on January 2 and January 12. Their evenings are loaded. Of the films we checked, only Impressions de France lost its evening hours.
Schedules only run through January 12 right now, so the evening shows could still come back later in 2027.
We have seen this movie before
Disney tried almost exactly this in March 2023. On March 7 that year it trimmed Impressions de France to the same 9:00 to 9:30am window, and three days later, on March 10, the evening showings were back, according to Blog Mickey's timeline. The difference then was that the Sing-Along took over the evening hours. This time nothing is listed in its place.
The film has played in EPCOT's France pavilion since the park opened in 1982. The theater closed for refurbishment this February and reopened in May with the same morning and evening split it has now.

If you want to see it in 2027
Plan on a 9am stop. The film runs 18 minutes and the window is only half an hour, so on a standard 9:00am opening day that means heading to France as soon as the park opens, before you do anything else. Or catch an evening showing now: Blog Mickey says the 7:00pm block is listed every night through December 31, and Disney's schedule still shows it on New Year's Eve.
Would you make France your first stop at rope drop for a film, or is Impressions de France an evening-only tradition for you?
