Discovery Cove's Black Friday Presale Starts Dolphin Swims at $124.50, $25.50 Below Last Year's Presale

The cheapest day to swim with a dolphin at Discovery Cove just got a lot cheaper. Discovery Cove's Black Friday presale is live, and its pricing page now starts the Signature Dolphin Swim Package at $124.50, down from a $225.00 starting price on October 25.

Each package card reads "Black Friday: Save up to 50%" and "Presale ends November 15." That gives it a week more runway than SeaWorld Orlando's own Black Friday presale, which its banner says ends November 8.

The presale starting prices

Here is what Discovery Cove's pricing page showed when we checked on Thursday, November 5. Each figure is labeled "Prices Starting at," which means the cheapest available date, not every date.

  • Signature Dolphin Swim Package: from $124.50
  • Dolphin Swim + 2 Parks: from $154.50
  • Dolphin Swim + 3 Parks: from $164.50
  • Day Resort Package: from $104.50
  • Day Resort + 2 Parks: from $134.50
  • Day Resort + 3 Parks: from $144.50

The fine print says the deal is "Not valid on previously booked reservations or in combination with other offers," and that offers are valid on new bookings only. The Florida Resident Rates page, which the site's menu labels "Black Friday - Florida Resident Offer," shows the same six starting prices under the same banner, so Florida residents are not getting a lower starting price than everyone else.

How this compares with last year

Archived copies of the same pricing page tell the story:

  • October 25, 2026 (no sale running): Signature Dolphin Swim from $225.00, Day Resort from $195.00. Today's dolphin swim starting price is about 45% lower.
  • October 15, 2026 (Early Booking Offer): "Save 40% on visits through 2027," ending October 18, with the dolphin swim from $180.00 and Day Resort from $139.80.
  • November 10, 2025 (last year's presale): dolphin swim from $150.00, Day Resort from $119.40. This year's presale is $25.50 and $14.90 cheaper.
  • November 26, 2025 (last year's Black Friday sale): dolphin swim from $120.00, Day Resort from $100.00. This year's presale is only $4.50 above each.

In other words, waiting for the actual Black Friday window last year cut the dolphin swim's starting price by another $30 over the presale. This year's presale already starts within $4.50 of last year's Black Friday sale price.

What the banner does not say

Last year's presale banner said "Save up to 50% on visits through 2026." This year's banner does not name a visit window at all, and the "Prices Starting at" figures only tell you the floor. Before you book, pick your date in the calendar and check the actual price for that day, especially if you are eyeing spring break or summer.

Discovery Cove's 2027 bookings revenue is already running ahead of where it stood a year ago. In United Parks & Resorts' third quarter results released Thursday, CEO Marc Swanson said "2027 forward bookings revenue for Discovery Cove and for our group business are each currently running up double digit percentages versus prior year at the same time."
