Florida Residents Get Up to 30% Off Disney World Hotels This Spring, and the Deal Covers Pop Century Where the Disney Visa Offer Doesn't

Sunshine State locals, this one is for you. Disney World has added a Florida resident room offer to its spring 2027 lineup, with up to 30% off select rooms at Disney Resorts Collection hotels on select nights from January 3 to April 29, 2027. Blog Mickey and WDW News Today both reported it Thursday morning, November 5.

The headline number matches what Disney Visa Cardmembers already get this spring. The fine print is where the two part ways: the resident offer reaches some hotels the Visa offer skips entirely, Pop Century among them, while the Visa offer keeps one January and February edge of its own.

How the savings work

Disney splits the hotels into three tiers. Each tier has two rates: a deeper one for most nights from February 28 to April 29, and a smaller one for most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3 to February 25. Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 fall outside both of this offer's windows.

  • Top tier: 30% on most nights from February 28 to April 29, 25% on most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3 to February 25
  • Middle tier: 25%, then 20%
  • Value tier: 20%, then 15%

Blog Mickey says proof of Florida residency is required at check-in, stays can run from 1 to 14 nights, the offer cannot be combined with other discounts, and Disney limits the number of rooms set aside for it. Neither report lists a booking deadline. Blog Mickey also reports that bookings are already open online.

Which hotels are in which tier

Top tier (30% / 25%): Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort; Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge; The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; Copper Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge; Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas (Jambo House and Kidani Village); Disney's Beach Club Resort; Disney's Beach Club Villas; Disney's BoardWalk Inn; Disney's BoardWalk Villas; Disney's Contemporary Resort; Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (King Bed Rooms); Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; Disney's Old Key West Resort (1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom Villas); Disney's Riviera Resort; Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa; Disney's Wilderness Lodge; Disney's Yacht Club Resort; and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Middle tier (25% / 20%): Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Resort View Rooms); Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Family Suites); Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort; Disney's Coronado Springs Resort; Disney's Old Key West Resort (Deluxe Studios); Disney's Polynesian Village Resort; Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows; and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

Value tier (20% / 15%): The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (March and April dates only, since the offer excludes all January and February dates); Disney's All-Star Movies, All-Star Music and All-Star Sports Resorts; Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Standard Rooms); Disney's Pop Century Resort; Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter; and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (Standard Location Rooms).

Not included: 3-Bedroom Villas at any resort; the Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge; and the Bungalows, Tower 1-Bedroom Villas, 2-Bedroom Villas and Penthouses at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

How it stacks up against Disney's other spring deals

By Blog Mickey's comparison, the Florida resident rates sit five points above Disney's general public room offer in each tier and level with the Disney Visa Cardmember rates. The Annual Passholder room offer runs five points higher still, at up to 35% off, so a Florida resident with a pass should check that rate before booking this one.

Matching the Visa rate is not the same as matching the Visa offer, though. When Disney rolled out its spring offers in September, the Disney Visa offer excluded Pop Century, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and the campsites. All four are on the Florida resident list. The Visa offer does have one edge we flagged back then: of Disney's spring 2027 room offers, it is the only one that reaches the January and February weekends, on stays of five nights or longer. The Florida resident offer, like the public one, covers only most Sunday to Thursday nights in that stretch.

For context, Blog Mickey notes that last summer's Florida resident hotel offer went as high as 35%.

Already booked?

According to Blog Mickey, bookings go through the special offers section of Disney's website or by phone at (407) 939-5277. If you already have a spring reservation, Blog Mickey says you can check from the My Reservation page by selecting Change Reservation and searching for other vacation offers. Park tickets are not part of the deal.
