Legoland Florida Brings Back a Refund Promise for Renewing Passholders if Pass Prices Drop, and Its Black Friday Sale Doesn't Undercut Renewal
Thinking about renewing your Legoland Florida annual pass but worried a better deal is around the corner? Legoland has put a promise back in writing: renew, and if the price drops on its website within three months, it will refund the difference.
A new yellow banner on the resort's Passholder Hub, headed "Best Price Guarantee for Renewals!", spells it out: "If you find a lower price on annual passes on the LEGOLAND Florida website in the next 3 months, we will refund the difference between what you paid and the lower annual pass price." The same block also appears on the Hub's Perks page.
Who is covered
The fine print is short. "Renewal orders must be placed after 8/31/2026 to be eligible," the page says, which means anyone who has renewed since September 1 is covered too, not just people renewing from today. The page does not say when the three months start counting; counted from the renewal date, even a September 1 renewal is covered until about December 1. To claim, you email [email protected] and include the order number.
August 31 is not a random date. That is when Legoland Florida switched to its current Standard, Preferred and Premium pass tiers and renewal prices (we covered the switch, renewal prices included, that day).

When it came back
This version is new within the last few weeks. A Wayback Machine copy of the Passholder Hub from October 11 does not have it, and neither does an August 27 copy. Legoland's sitemap shows the Perks page was last updated on October 30 and the Hub on November 2, which points to the guarantee reaching the Hub sometime between October 11 and November 2. Legoland has not announced it anywhere we could find.
It is not the first time Legoland Florida has offered one. Archived copies of its renewals page carry a "Best Price Guarantee" from spring 2024 through at least October 23, 2025. In April 2024 that version promised a refund for a better price on the same price tier found "within the next 6 months." By September 2024 the refund wording was gone, and copies through October 2025 keep only the name and general assurances, such as that renewing passholders get "the BEST deal on passes." The guarantee is missing entirely from copies made from November 19, 2025 onward. The new version puts the refund back, with a three-month window and no mention of the same tier.
Will Black Friday trigger a refund?
This is the practical question, because Legoland's Black Friday sale starts on Wednesday, November 18, inside the three-month window for every covered renewal, if the three months count from the renewal date. Based on the Black Friday prices Legoland posted on its blog in October, the answer looks like no. Those two blog posts now return a page not found error and the official sale page still lists no prices, but the same figures and the November 18 start appear in Merlin's announcement as reported by Gotta Go Orlando. Here is how the current renewal prices on the Renewals page compare with the Black Friday prices for new passes we reported on October 19:
- Standard: $99 renewal, $99 on Black Friday. A tie.
- Preferred: $139 renewal, $149 on Black Friday. Renewal is $10 cheaper.
- Premium: $189 renewal, $199 on Black Friday. Renewal is $10 cheaper.
That comparison is our own arithmetic, not something Legoland says, and the guarantee does not spell out whether a new-pass sale price counts against a renewal. Either way, none of the announced Black Friday pass prices is lower than what renewing passholders already pay. So if you are holding off on renewing until Black Friday, the prices announced so far offer no saving over renewing now. The announcement also lists prices for new passes only, nothing specific to renewals. The regular prices for new passes on Legoland's annual passes page are still $179, $249 and $299, and the Renewals page says its renewal savings are not valid on Monthly Pay purchases.

The fine print elsewhere
One wrinkle: the terms on the Renewals page itself match an archived copy from May 2026. They still say "Annual Pass purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable" and "Renewal offer cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions." The guarantee is not on that page at all, only on the Hub and Perks pages. If you renew and later spot a lower price, Legoland asks only for your order number, but we suggest also keeping a dated screenshot of the lower price and a pointer to the Passholder Hub wording in case a claim is questioned.
