Brick or Treat gave The Dragon a Halloween makeover and added a Department of Monster Vehicles, neither of which was on last year's page

The 2025 Brick or Treat page put a Halloween spin on exactly one ride, the carousel. The 2026 event page lists a Halloween makeover on The Dragon and a driving themed activity called the Department of Monster Vehicles, plus a Halloween version of the Galacticoaster, the park's newest coaster.

The park's Brick or Treat page now lists "The Dragon: Roarsome Halloween Adventure" among the event's in-park activities. The description reads: "LEGOLAND's iconic ride The Dragon has had a Halloween makeover, do you dare to get on board? Brave your way through LEGO ghosts, toxic spiders and radioactive bats who are taking over the Castle and causing glowing mischief."

Legoland describes The Dragon as an indoor/outdoor steel roller coaster that explores life inside the park's castle before coming out soaring into the sky, and the overlay description says the ghosts, spiders and bats are taking over the Castle, which points at that indoor stretch. The ride is not on the park's temporary closures list, though that list does have The Great LEGO Race down September 8 to October 2 and Kid Power Towers down September 8 to October 4, which takes each of them out for three of the event's five September dates, with Kid Power Towers also down for October 3 and 4.

The second addition is a driving lesson

The other new item is flagged on the page itself: "NEW! Department of Monster Vehicles." Legoland's description reads, "The monster world has a few hazards they might not have covered on your human driving test. But not to fear! The Department of Monster Vehicles is here to prepare you for any road trip through the ghostly streets. Beware of all the glowing spills and other obstacles littering the streets or you may not make it very far!"

Worth being precise about: Legoland does not name a location for it. The photo the park pairs with the listing is a daylight shot of its brick-built driving cars, which is suggestive, but the page does not say which attraction hosts it.

What actually changed

Compare the lineups. The 2026 page's Halloween Adventures section reads: Brick or Treat Street, the Potion Mischief Light Trail, the Halloween Galacticoaster, the Mischief Town Mural, the LEGO Candy Corn Scavenger Hunt, The Dragon: Roarsome Halloween Adventure, the Mischief Town Carousel, the Department of Monster Vehicles and the LEGO Pumpkin Build.

The archived version of the same page from October 2025 lists, in the equivalent activities section, The Great Monster Chase, Jammin Jacks, the Monster Party Carousel, Zombie Cheer Crew, the V.I.M Dance Party, Monster Skytacular, Time to Learn About Halloween, the Scarecrow Superbrick Build, the LEGO Pumpkin Build and the LEGO Candy Corn Scavenger Hunt. Most of that carried over. The 2026 page still runs Zombie Cheer Crew, the V.I.M Dance Party, The Great Monster Chase, Jammin Jacks and Monster Skytacular, just under a separate Bricktastic Halloween Shows heading, and only Time to Learn About Halloween and the Scarecrow Superbrick Build are gone outright. What the 2025 page does not have anywhere is a Dragon overlay or a Department of Monster Vehicles, and its only ride treatment is the carousel, since renamed the Mischief Town Carousel.

One caution on how new this is. The Dragon has carried a Brick or Treat overlay before. Archived versions of the Florida page from 2022, 2023 and 2024 all promote a Disco Party Coaster overlay, sold as monster tunes and party lights rather than the ghosts, spiders and bats described this year. The 2022 and 2023 pages put it on the Dragon Party Coaster by name, and the 2024 page keeps the same branding without naming the ride. None of those three pages lists a carousel overlay at all. What changes between years is which rides get dressed up, not whether any of them do. That is also the likeliest reason California flags The Dragon as new and Florida does not.

One caveat: this is a shared package

These are not Florida exclusives. Legoland California's Brick or Treat page carries the identical Dragon description word for word, and California labels both items "NEW!" Of the two, Florida's page flags only the Department of Monster Vehicles that way and does not mark The Dragon as new. Both resorts have a Dragon coaster, which is what makes that overlay shareable. Both also have a Driving School, though neither page says the Department of Monster Vehicles uses it. Only the Dragon text is actually shared: California writes up the Department of Monster Vehicles in completely different words, describing a driving lesson with glowing slime balls and candy cones.

If you are going

Brick or Treat runs select dates from September 5 through October 31, and it is included with theme park admission and select passes rather than sold as a separate ticket. On event days, candy stations run from 2pm to 7pm across the park. The Monster Skytacular drone show runs select weekends only at 8pm on October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
