Legoland Florida and Peppa Pig Take Turns Closing This Fall: Peppa Closes 12 Tuesdays, Legoland the 12 Wednesdays Right After, Starting September 1
Legoland Florida Resort has loaded its calendar out to December 31, and reading it end to end turns up a pattern the resort has never described in one place: for 24 days this fall, one of its two theme park gates is shut and the other is open. They never close together.
It starts Tuesday, September 1. Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida is closed Tuesday, September 1, while Legoland Theme Park runs 10am to 5pm. On Wednesday, September 2, they swap: Legoland Theme Park and SEA LIFE Florida are closed, and Peppa Pig is open 10am to 4pm.

The 24 dates
Pulled from the resort's own opening hours calendar, the closures fall like this:
Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, 12 Tuesdays: September 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, October 20 and 27, November 3 and 17, December 1, 8 and 15.
Legoland Theme Park and SEA LIFE Florida, 12 Wednesdays: September 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, October 21 and 28, November 4 and 18, December 2, 9 and 16.
Every one of those Peppa Pig Tuesdays is followed the next day by a Legoland Wednesday. Not one date appears on both lists. Legoland Theme Park and SEA LIFE Florida share an identical closure schedule, which is unsurprising given SEA LIFE is inside Legoland Florida Resort, has no standalone ticket, and is admitted on a theme park ticket.
Why this matters more than usual this year
Legoland leans hard on multi-park access. Its Ultimate Florida Ticket, from $114 against a $174 front gate price, bundles seven attractions: Legoland Theme Park and Water Park, Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, SEA LIFE Florida, SEA LIFE Orlando, Madame Tussauds and The Orlando Eye, and all three of the annual passes it launched on August 31 are sold on the strength of covering Legoland, Peppa Pig and SEA LIFE together. Legoland's own 1-Day Multi-Park Ticket, bookable only through the Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida website, covers exactly those three gates and requires that "All park visits must occur on the same day," so on the 12 Tuesdays it loses Peppa Pig and on the 12 Wednesdays it loses both Legoland Theme Park and SEA LIFE.
The Ultimate Florida Ticket carries a condition that collides with this calendar directly. Its terms say "LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park, LEGOLAND Water Park and SEA LIFE Florida admission must be used on the same day." Those three gates are open together on just 22 days in the rest of 2026, and the last of them is November 1. The binding constraint is the water park, not the closures: its 22 days are all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or the two holiday Mondays, so it was never going to be open on a Wednesday anyway. From November 2 it does not open again this year, and the condition cannot be met at all.
Under this calendar, 24 of the 32 Tuesdays and Wednesdays between September 1 and December 16 have one of the two theme parks shut. Only four Tuesdays and four Wednesdays in that stretch have both gates open. A family building a two day midweek trip on one of the alternating pairs loses a different park on each of the two days.

An important caveat on framing
This is not a new policy. Legoland Florida's own help center spells out all three pieces in plain English. The theme park is "closed on select Wednesdays throughout the year." Peppa Pig "may be closed on select Tuesdays" outside its March to August 10 daily season. SEA LIFE "may be closed on certain Wednesdays." Outside planning sites index those Wednesdays too. What is new is the specific date set: the calendar has now been published through the end of December, the count is 12 and 12, the two parks alternate perfectly across all 24 dates, and the sequence begins September 1.
Legoland has issued no press release about any of it. The resort's press room carries no release archive at all, just a media contact, a media admissions policy and a creator program, and Merlin Entertainments' newsroom has nothing on Florida operating days, its most recent Legoland Florida item being an August 4 Merlin Backstage note announcing Coastersaurus would reopen for National Roller Coaster Day. The dates are simply there on the hours page for anyone who scrolls month by month.
No closure lands on a Brick or Treat night
The closures also leave the resort's big fall event untouched, though that follows from the shape of the schedule rather than from anything Legoland has said. Brick or Treat runs 18 nights across September and October, and every one of them is a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Because all 24 closures fall on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, none of them can collide with a Brick or Treat night.
The pattern also breaks for several midweek pairs. Both parks stay open on October 6 and 7 and on October 13 and 14, within the Brick or Treat season though not on event nights, again on November 10 and 11, with Veterans Day on the Wednesday, again in Thanksgiving week on November 24 and 25, and over the holidays on December 22 and 23 and December 29 and 30.

One more date worth writing down
The water park's season end is the one piece Legoland does state outright: its help center says the water park "will close for the 2026 season on Sunday, November 1, 2026," and the calendar backs that up. Legoland Water Park has 22 operating days left in 2026: ten in September, eleven in October, and a single day in November, Sunday, November 1, running 10am to 4pm. After that there is nothing at all on the calendar through December 31.
That is worth noting alongside the August 31 annual pass news, because the water park is included only on the two upper pass tiers, Preferred at $249 and Premium at $299. The launch promotion only runs through September 30, so the free stretch of 2026 it adds is front loaded: buy on August 31 and all 22 remaining water park days are still ahead of you, buy on September 30 and 12 are left, and from November 2 through December 31 the free period carries no water park at all. The pass itself covers 2027, and Legoland has not published park hours beyond December 31.
