Halloween Spooktacular

Halloween Spooktacular is SeaWorld Orlando's daytime, family-friendly Halloween event, and unlike the big separately ticketed Halloween events elsewhere in Orlando it is included with regular park admission. It runs on 26 select dates from August 29 through November 1, 2026, with activities concentrated in Key West, around Dolphin Theater, the Journey to Atlantis plaza and Sesame Street Land. The centerpiece is a trick-or-treat trail of candy stations, which requires buying a reusable SeaWorld trick-or-treat bag in the park (pass member discounts apply). Also included: a Spookley the Square Pumpkin meet and greet across from Rita's Italian Ice from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., a Sesame Street Halloween Parade with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby and The Count in costume, Halloween Storytime with Big Bird, Halloween mermaids in Key West, a Bubble Dance Party in the Spooky Forest, a Scarecrow Halloween Dance Party at Journey to Atlantis Plaza, free kids crafts and the Pumpkin Garden with a storyteller. A Teal Pumpkin Program lets guests with food allergies collect tokens along the trail and trade them for allergy-friendly items at Coconut Bay Traders. Guests of all ages may wear costumes, though anyone 13 or older cannot wear masks or hoods. On nights when the separately ticketed Howl-O-Scream runs, the daytime park closes early at 7 p.m. or 8 p.m.
