SeaWorld Pass Members Can Score a Free Dolphin Encounter Monday to Thursday in October, but Only the First to Sign Up Each Day

It may pay to get to SeaWorld Orlando early in October. SeaWorld Orlando's Pass Member perks page lists a free Dolphin Encounter every Monday through Thursday next month, for whoever gets to Dolphin Cove first.

The wording on SeaWorld's monthly offers page: "The first Pass Members to sign up at Dolphin Cove each day will get a FREE Dolphin Encounter. This limited-capacity experience is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get here early."

What the free encounter is worth

The Dolphin Encounter normally starts at $49.99 per guest ages 3 and up, plus tax, according to SeaWorld's tour page. It is a short program: about 15 minutes in total, including a 3 to 5 minute dolphin interaction, with roughly 10 guests per group. SeaWorld says guests get the chance to touch and feed the dolphins during a training session with animal care specialists.

The listing does not say how many free spots SeaWorld will hand out each day or when sign-ups open, so plan on arriving early. The offer is listed for Pass Members in general, not just Platinum; SeaWorld's page says its rewards apply to Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum members unless noted otherwise. And leave the phone in your bag: the tour page says "no personal belongings, including phones and cameras, are permitted along the interaction wall." Professional photos are sold separately.

The rest of October's Pass Member perks

• Free one-time Quick Queue: use it on the day of your choice from October 1 to 5.
• $10 in SeaWorld Bucks: any one day from October 1 to 31, redeemed at a self-service kiosk in the park.
• Free beer, carried over from September: two free 7-ounce draft samples per day (type may vary) at Waterway Grill Patio for Pass Members 21 and older, from 12 p.m. until one hour before park closing, on select dates through October 18. Other guests 21 and up get one, and the offer is not available during Howl-O-Scream.
• Free animal feeding: sea lions, stingrays or sharks, any one day from October 1 to 31.
• Howl-O-Scream ticket offer: a Pass Member-exclusive price all month. The listing does not give the price.
• Spooktacular Bag: a Pass Member-exclusive trick-or-treat bag for sale on select dates in October, while supplies last.
• Free gift: a "FREE exclusive Pass Member gift" from October 12 to 31, while supplies last. The listing does not say what it is.
• Platinum only: a one-time $10 off a $50 merchandise purchase, plus one double-discount food or beverage purchase.

The $39.99 Howl-O-Scream ticket is back, briefly

Before October even starts, SeaWorld has reopened the $39.99 Pass Member Any Night Ticket for Howl-O-Scream, which we covered when it first appeared on September 8. The listing is marked "NEW! Another Chance to Get Spooked at Howl-O-Scream for $39.99," and runs from September 28 to October 4.

According to SeaWorld, Pass Members can buy the ticket "through the Pass Member portal or at a self-service kiosk beginning September 28 and use it on any eligible event night through October 31, 2026."

Already on the calendar for November

SeaWorld has also posted November perks. Highlights include 30% off the Sharks Up-Close Tour from November 1 to 24, 30% off Trainer for a Day from November 1 to 10, another free one-time Quick Queue from November 1 to 9, and a discounted Christmas Celebration sampling lanyard on select dates.

Over at Aquatica Orlando, the October perk list is shorter: $10 in Beach Bucks, any one day from October 1 to 31.
