Hotel Transylvania Is Joining SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular, and Breakfast With Drac and Mavis Is $35.99 for Adults

SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular is the friendly one: a daytime event, included with park admission, built around trick-or-treating, character meets and a Sesame Street dance party. This year it picked up a movie franchise.

Sony Pictures Animation’s "Hotel Transylvania" characters are new to the annual event this year. Spooktacular runs select dates from August 29 through November 1, 2026.

Breakfast at the Monster Dread & Breakfast

The headline addition is a character meal. According to a news release cited by News 6 ClickOrlando, "Drac and Mavis have transformed SeaWorld’s SeaFire Inn into the Monster Dread & Breakfast, a separately ticketed character dining experience complete with a breakfast buffet, meet-and-greets, dancing and immersive Hotel Transylvania-themed décor."

Booking is already live, and so is the price:

  • Adult (ages 10 and up): $35.99 each
  • Child (ages 3 to 9): $20.99 each
  • Infant (ages 0 to 2): free

Pass Member and Ambassador discounts apply. Seating is at 9:00am on Spooktacular days, which SeaWorld lists as Saturdays, Sundays, and select Fridays and Mondays between August 29 and November 1, 2026.

The buffet is unlimited, and SeaWorld posts the menu as "carved ham, crispy bacon, turkey sausage, made-to-order omelets, fluffy scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, French toast sticks, fresh fruit, pastries, kid-friendly favorites, and more."

One detail worth catching before you book for a family: "For a limited time, all child reservations will come with a complimentary souvenir Hotel Transylvania cup!"

On this face the SeaWorld logo runs across the top, with Mavis upright and Drac arched backward in a dance dip at left, Murray the mummy grinning in the center, a pair of floating eyeglasses at upper right, one of Frank’s stitched arms at the edge and a small red imp on the floorboards, a wooden staircase behind them. What stays free

The rest of the event runs on regular park admission. Another new piece is a Hotel Transylvania Dance Party, with Mavis and Johnny hosting.

The rest of the lineup: the Trick-or-Treat Trail and its 12 candy stations (you buy the reusable Spooktacular bag), Spookley the Square Pumpkin, a mermaid meet in the Key West area, Pumpkin Garden and Storytime, the Spooky Bubble Trail, the Scarecrow Halloween Dance Parade, Storytime with Big Bird, and the Sesame Street Halloween Parade.

New food goes on sale too: the Mummy Dog, a pretzel-dough-wrapped all-beef hot dog, and Trick-or-Treat Crunch Popcorn. Those ring up like any other park snack.

SeaWorld also runs the Teal Pumpkin Program for allergy-friendly treats. Costumes are welcome at all ages, but SeaWorld says anyone 13 or older "may not wear costume masks or hoods," and every costume still has to clear the park’s normal dress code.

Two very different temperatures

SeaWorld runs its Halloween season at both ends. Howl-O-Scream is the after-dark event, separately ticketed, and SeaWorld says the ticket does not include daytime park admission; the 2026 run is select nights from September 11 through October 31 with 5 haunted houses and 6 scare zones. Spooktacular runs during the day, is included with admission, and brings back Sesame Street characters and Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

Hotel Transylvania is the newest name on the daytime side, and the breakfast is the one piece of the lineup SeaWorld describes as separately ticketed. The trick-or-treat bag and the seasonal snacks still cost extra, but everything else on the schedule is covered by admission.
