Universal Orlando is throwing its own separately ticketed after-hours event at Epic Universe. Universal Orlando has announced Universal Nights, a limited-capacity evening at its newest park that lets a smaller crowd enjoy the attractions, entertainment, and free snacks well past regular closing. It runs on just two Saturday nights this fall.

The details

Universal Nights takes place on Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9 p.m. to midnight. Ticket holders can get in early, with park entry starting at 7 p.m., which stretches the visit to roughly five hours and gives guests time to catch the Universal Celestial Goodnight nighttime show before the after-hours event officially begins.

The quick facts: Universal Nights at Epic Universe. Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, 2026. Event runs 9 p.m. to midnight, with early park entry at 7 p.m. Starts at $179.99 per person, plus tax. Tickets go on sale August 13.

What is included

The ticket covers access to the park's attractions, live entertainment, and character interactions, plus complimentary specialty snacks and beverages served throughout the night. Because it is a separately ticketed, limited-capacity event, the draw is the same one that powers Disney's after-hours nights: lighter crowds and shorter waits than you would ever see during a normal summer day.

Pricing and on-sale

Universal Nights starts at $179.99 per person, plus tax, and tickets go on sale August 13. As with most limited-capacity events, the nights can sell out, so fans who want in on either October date will want to be ready when sales open rather than waiting until the last minute.

Why it matters

This is the first hard-ticket after-hours event Universal itself has announced for Epic Universe since the park opened in 2025, and it slots the year-old park directly into the same premium, low-crowd niche that Disney After Hours has occupied in Orlando for years. It also gives the Universal Celestial Goodnight show, which only just debuted, a natural home on these evenings. For anyone who has wanted to experience Epic Universe without the daytime crush, this is the first real chance.
