Epic Universe has quietly added a new spot to grab a cold treat. Satellite Shakes, a small milkshake pickup window, has opened in Celestial Park, the central hub of Universal's newest theme park, taking over the space that used to be the Meteor Astropub pickup window.

What is on the menu

The menu is short, space-themed, and built entirely around specialty milkshakes. There are three to choose from:

  • Captain Cacao's Starlight Voyage, a chocolate-forward shake, at $13.99
  • Astronomer's Strawberry Shortcake at $12.99
  • Stargazer Cookie Butter at $12.99

The quick facts: Satellite Shakes, a new milkshake pickup window in Celestial Park at Epic Universe. Three specialty shakes: Captain Cacao's Starlight Voyage ($13.99), Astronomer's Strawberry Shortcake ($12.99), and Stargazer Cookie Butter ($12.99). It replaced the former Meteor Astropub pickup window.

Where to find it

Satellite Shakes sits in Celestial Park, the lushly landscaped hub you walk through on the way into Epic Universe. One heads-up if you go looking for it: as of the early reports, there was no exterior signage yet, and team members were pointing guests toward the window. So if you do not spot a big sign, ask a nearby team member.

The bottom line

It is a small addition, not a headline attraction, but a dedicated milkshake window is an easy win on a hot Orlando afternoon, and early reviews have been warm, with the chocolate Captain Cacao's shake, the one reviewers have tried so far, drawing praise. If you are wandering Celestial Park and need a break from the heat, it is worth a stop.
