Five Guys Is Now Open at Universal CityWalk, With an $11.39 Hamburger and a Listed 7:30 a.m. Start

The burger place with the free toppings and the paper bag full of extra fries is now serving at Universal CityWalk. Five Guys is open on CityWalk's upper level, according to Attractions Magazine, and the price list is out. A plain hamburger runs $11.39.

There was no formal announcement. Attractions Magazine reported Friday morning that the location is live on the Five Guys website with online ordering switched on, and wrote: "As of Sept. 25, Five Guys is accepting online orders through its official location webpage, indicating that the Universal CityWalk restaurant is now open." It added that "Universal has not yet announced a formal opening."

Two days earlier, on Wednesday evening, the outlet found staff training inside the restaurant, which we covered along with the Halloween Horror Nights sign promising it would be open until 1 a.m.

Toppings are free, and fries come Five Guys Style or Cajun Style. Add it up and a Bacon Cheeseburger with regular fries and a shake comes to $29.27 before tax.

Breakfast, and a 7:30 a.m. listing

Universal's September 18 announcement promised a breakfast sandwich for guests on their way into Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure, but did not give hours. The restaurant's own Five Guys location page now fills in part of that. It lists the restaurant at 6000 Universal Boulevard with hours of 7:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., seven days a week, and includes Breakfast among its services, alongside dine in, outside seating and mobile ordering. The same list also names curbside and delivery, so read it as a general listing rather than a detailed plan for this location.

Treat those hours as a listing, not a promise. The only 1 a.m. close reported at the restaurant itself is the Halloween Horror Nights sign, which says it will be open until 1 a.m. during the event. Universal has not published hours of its own on its blog. Check the Five Guys app or site on the day before you plan a 7:30 a.m. burger run or a post-Horror Nights one.

Where to find it

Five Guys is on CityWalk's upper level, across from Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches, in the space that used to be the Burger King Whopper Bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

It is the second new quick-service spot to open on CityWalk this month, after Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice opened on September 19.
