Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure go to 7pm closings on November 2, and seven November days have a park closing at 6pm

The haunted houses close for the season after Sunday night, and from Monday the parks settle into early evening closings.

Halloween Horror Nights 35 wraps up on Sunday, November 1. From Monday, November 2, Universal's posted hours have Universal Studios Florida open 10am to 7pm and Islands of Adventure open 9am to 7pm on most days through the first three weeks of November. Inside the Magic published the new schedule on October 27, and we checked it date by date on October 28 against ThemeParks.wiki schedule data, which mirrors Universal's posted hours.

The new normal for November

Here is the standard day from November 2, which covers November 2 to 4, 6 to 10, 14, 16, 18 and 29:

• Universal Studios Florida: 10am to 7pm
• Islands of Adventure: 9am to 7pm
• Epic Universe: 10am to 8pm

One date to double-check: Pirates & Princesses found TouringPlans listing Epic Universe closing at 7pm on November 29, while the schedule data we checked still shows 8pm.

Daytime guests at Universal Studios Florida actually gain time. On Horror Nights event days the park runs 9am to 5pm before clearing out for the event, so the November day opens an hour later but closes two hours later, the same 10am to 7pm schedule the park ran on October days without the event, such as October 26 and 27. Epic Universe keeps the same 10am to 8pm day it has right now.

The 6pm days

Seven November dates have one park closing at 6pm:

• Islands of Adventure closes at 6pm on Thursday, November 5; Friday, November 13; Sunday, November 15; Tuesday, November 17; and Friday, November 20.
• Universal Studios Florida closes at 6pm on Thursday, November 12.
• Epic Universe runs 9am to 6pm on Thursday, November 19, an hour earlier at both ends of the day.

Epic Universe also closes at 7pm on Wednesday, November 11, Tuesday, November 17 and Monday, November 30. On November 11 and 30 that means all three parks close at 7pm. November 17 is the tightest day of the month for a park-to-park ticket, the only date with two parks on short hours: Islands of Adventure closes at 6pm and Epic Universe at 7pm.

Early Park Admission still helps

The schedule data we checked lists an extra early hour on every November date at Islands of Adventure (from 8am) and at Epic Universe (from 9am, or 8am on days the park opens at 9am). Universal Studios Florida has none listed. Pirates & Princesses makes the practical point: if you are staying at a Universal hotel, going early is "the smart play," since the extra morning hour makes up for time lost at night.

Holidays start on a 7pm day

Universal Orlando's Holidays celebration runs from November 14 through January 3, 2027, according to Universal's August announcement, with Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's, Grinchmas and Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Opening day, Saturday, November 14, is one of the 7pm days at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, so the after-dark window for the decorations that night is short.

Thanksgiving week gets the hours back

• Saturday, November 21: Universal Studios Florida 10am to 8pm, Islands of Adventure 9am to 7pm, Epic Universe 10am to 9pm.
• Sunday, November 22 to Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving): Universal Studios Florida 10am to 8pm, Islands of Adventure 9am to 8pm, Epic Universe 9am to 9pm.
• Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28: Universal Studios Florida 10am to 8pm, Islands of Adventure 9am to 9pm, Epic Universe 10am to 9pm.

Park hours can change, so check the official calendar or the Universal Orlando app the week of your visit.
