SeaWorld's New $39.99 Pass Member Any Night Ticket Has Fine Print That Says Two Event Nights in One Line and Six in Another
SeaWorld Orlando opened a new Howl-O-Scream offer to Pass Members today. It is called an Any Night Ticket, it costs $39.99, and one paragraph of fine print on SeaWorld's own page contradicts itself about which nights it covers. One sentence limits it to the offer period, which contains two event nights. The last line of the same paragraph says you must visit by September 26, which is six.
The standing Pass Member price for a Howl-O-Scream Single-Night Ticket is $40.99, so the new offer is a dollar less. The two are not the same product: $40.99 buys a ticket locked to one date chosen at purchase, while SeaWorld's public Any Night Ticket, the version with no date attached, sells for $64.99.
It is also more than the last Pass Member Any Night deal. The same page still carries an item headed "EXTENDED! Howl-O-Scream $31 In-Park Ticket Offer," telling Pass Members the $31 Any Night Ticket "has been extended through September 6." That offer closed on Sunday. Today's replacement is $8.99 more.

What the page says, and what the fine print says
The offer sits on SeaWorld's September Pass Member News page under the heading "NEW! Get Spooked at Howl-O-Scream for Just $39.99." The body copy reads:
"Pass Members can experience the scares, thrills and sinister fun of Howl-O-Scream with an exclusive Any Night Ticket for just $39.99 each. Purchase at a self-service kiosk or through the Pass Member portal from September 8 - 13 and use your ticket on any eligible night before September 26, 2026."
Scroll to the disclaimers at the bottom of the same page and the $39.99 paragraph says something else. First: "Each ticket is valid for one event night during Howl-O-Scream 2026 and does NOT include daytime admission to SeaWorld Orlando." Two sentences later, in the same paragraph: "Tickets are valid for one event night during the offer period only and are subject to availability." Then the paragraph closes with a line that has a period where a comma should be: "Must visit by September 26. 2026."
Line those up against SeaWorld's own September calendar and the last two cannot both be describing the same ticket.

Howl-O-Scream runs six September nights: the 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th, every one a Friday or a Saturday.
"Must visit by September 26" is six nights. "During the offer period only" is two, because the offer period is September 8 to 13 and the only event nights inside it are Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th, the event's opening weekend. The paragraph never defines "the offer period," but it opens by saying the offer is available September 8 to 13, which is the only window it can mean. The two lines sit at opposite ends of the same block of text, with eight sentences of other terms between them.
The blog copy adds a smaller gap of its own. It says "before September 26," which is five nights and excludes the 26th. The fine print says "by September 26," which includes it. The remaining line, "during Howl-O-Scream 2026," reads as a description of the event the ticket belongs to rather than a date window.
What an Any Night Ticket normally is
SeaWorld sells a product under that name on its public ticket page, and it is unambiguous there. It costs $64.99 against a struck through $125.99, and the terms say: "This ticket is NOT date-specific and can be used on any Howl-O-Scream event night. Expires Oct. 31, 2026."
The retail version is the only single-park, one-night Howl-O-Scream ticket sold with no date attached. The Pass Member offer carries the same name, and SeaWorld used it for the $31 in-park ticket too, which was good on any of the event's 26 nights. This one has a line in its fine print that would confine it to September 8 to 13.
The public Any Night Ticket has also come down. When we wrote about SeaWorld's $31 in-park offer last week it was listed at $69.99. Today the same product on the same page is $64.99.
A deadline that passed, on a banner still up
The tickets page is also still running a banner today advertising tickets as low as $45.99 beside a red tab reading "BUY EARLY AND SAVE! HURRY OFFER ENDS SEPT 7TH." Yesterday was September 7, and the countdown clock beside it was set to run out at midnight. The price it advertises is still in effect: the Single-Night Ticket is $45.99 on that page today, against a list price of $125.99.

The rest of the fine print
Whichever reading holds, the other terms are consistent. Daytime admission to the park is not included. The event is ticketed separately and begins at 7 p.m. on each night it operates. Prices exclude parking, taxes and fees. No guests in costume are admitted, there are no rain checks or readmits, and the tickets are non-refundable.
The disclaimer that governs the whole page limits its offers to active Bronze, Silver, Gold and Florida Platinum Pass Members. Holders of the Fun Card, the Florida Teacher and Preschool Cards, the Friends & Family Pass and the Transferable Pass are all excluded.
Fun Card holders get a different offer in the same week. Two items further down the same page, SeaWorld is giving them $10 in SeaWorld Bucks, running September 8 to 13.
Which nights work under every reading
Two nights satisfy every version of the rule on the page: Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12. Both sit inside the offer period and inside every wider window the page describes. Any later night rests on which of the two sentences is enforced at the kiosk and in the portal, and SeaWorld does not say which. The same paragraph also makes the tickets subject to availability, so the opening weekend is not a guarantee either.
Howl-O-Scream 2026 operates on 26 select nights between September 11 and October 31, six of them in September and 20 in October.
