Universal Orlando's Hotel Deal Just Reset, and the Four Hotels the Old Offer Left Out Now Get the Biggest Discount
Universal Orlando's long stay hotel discount has been swapped out, and the replacement asks for fewer nights and covers more hotels.
The offer is called "Stay Longer, and Save More," it lives on the Loews Hotels site that handles the Universal Orlando hotels, and its travel window opens today, September 8. It runs through December 25, goes dark from December 26 through January 2, then picks back up January 3 and runs to March 15, 2027.

The new terms
The headline is "Stay 5 nights or more and save up to 30%." The fine print puts a floor under it as well as a ceiling: a "Minimum of five (5) consecutive night stay required to qualify for up to 30% savings," with savings that "range from 15% to 30% off the Flexible Rate at the time of booking."
The terms define that benchmark rate in the same paragraph. "The Flexible Rate is the lowest published non-discounted double-occupancy room rate offered on a given night, before tax." The terms say those savings "will be automatically applied at time of booking."
Every hotel, and what each one gets
This is the part worth reading closely, because the page now publishes a per-hotel savings breakdown. The previous version named which hotels were participating but never said what each one saved. All eleven hotels are in the new list.
Save 30 percent: Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Aventura Hotel.
Save 25 percent: Universal Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites, and Universal Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites.
Save 20 percent: Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel.
Save 15 percent: Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel.

What the old offer looked like
The version archived in June is a different shape. Its headline read "Save up to 35%* when you book a 7-night stay or longer, and make the most of your summer getaway," and it was "valid for travel now through September 3, 2026."
Two things stand out. The first is the length: seven nights, not five. The second is who was invited. The old terms named the participating hotels explicitly, and there were seven of them: Dockside, Surfside, Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, Portofino Bay and Helios Grand. Cabana Bay, Aventura, Stella Nova and Terra Luna were not on the list.
Those four are exactly the four now sitting at 30 percent, the top tier in the new breakdown.
The range moved as well. The old offer ran "from 10% to 35% off the Flexible Rate." The new one runs from 15 to 30. On the published range, the ceiling dropped five points and the floor rose five, and the entry requirement dropped by two nights. The per-hotel breakdown makes the ceiling half of that range shift look kinder than it is: every hotel in the new 30 percent tier is one the old offer left out, and the seven that were in both offers now top out at 25 percent, so the best published number available to them fell from 35 to 25. For the other four, which were not in the old offer at all, any discount is new.

The Christmas gap
The travel window is written as two blocks: September 8 to December 25, 2026, then January 3 to March 15, 2027. That means the run up to Christmas falls inside the offer, Thanksgiving week included, and then the eight nights from December 26 to January 2 do not. That second block runs just over ten weeks.
The terms also warn that "Blockout dates may apply" on top of that, and that rates "are higher on Friday/Saturday and holidays," so the discount percentage is applied to a number that already moves.
One loose end on the page
The page's own meta description, the line search results and social cards pick up, was only half updated. The percentage and the night count were changed to match the new terms, but the season was not. It now reads "Save up to 30%* off when you book a 5-night or longer stay, and make the most of your summer getaway," which pairs the new five night minimum with the old summer language, on an offer that now runs to the middle of March.
The rest of the fine print
The savings are "included in the posted rate and subject to change until the reservation is booked." Extra person fees apply above two adults in a room. It is "Not applicable to group bookings or existing reservations," so an existing booking will not be adjusted, and "no other promotions, offers, or discounts apply." Theme park admission is separate.
