Universal put out the 2027 dates for Rock the Universe and the full eighteen-artist lineup in a single announcement on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The lineup was public by mid morning Eastern time.

The event, which Universal bills as Florida's biggest Christian music festival, is back at Universal Studios Florida on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23, 2027. Tickets and vacation packages go on sale Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

How the nights run. WDW News Today lays out the schedule. Ticket holders get into Universal Studios Florida after 4 p.m. on either event night. At 6 p.m. the park shuts to everyone without a Rock the Universe ticket, and holding one allows an attendee to stay on until 1 a.m. Separately, FOX 35 Orlando reports that a Sunday morning non-denominational worship service closes out the weekend. That Sunday is January 24.

Universal's official description of the event, as quoted by WDW News Today, reads: "Rock the Universe is an unforgettable weekend of faith and fun. Experience powerful beats from Christian Music's brightest stars and thrilling rides at Universal Studios Florida."

Prices are not out yet. Two ticket types have been named, a single night ticket and the Rock Your Weekend Ticket, but no 2027 figures have been published. For scale, Universal's own release for the 2026 event put the Rock Your Weekend Ticket at a starting price of $173.99 per person and single night tickets starting at $94.99, with the group version of the weekend ticket starting at $155.99 for youth groups of ten or more. Those are the 2026 event's starting prices, not 2027 figures.

One more bit of timing worth noting: the 2026 lineup was announced on September 16, 2025. This year's reveal landed about a week earlier in the calendar. Both announcements carried the full lineup up front, but the 2026 tickets went on sale the same day the lineup dropped, while the 2027 tickets wait a week.
