SeaWorld quietly added a fourth Howl-O-Scream show, an undead 90s boy band called Dead Air

SeaWorld Orlando's July framework for Howl-O-Scream 2026 promised two live shows. The Fox 35 story that ran off the park's news release named three. The park's own attractions page now lists four, and the newest one is an undead boy band.

Dead Air is listed on SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream attractions page under an "ALL-NEW!" tag, with the full card title reading "Dead Air- The Rewind Bar." Its location is the Nautilus Theater, the park's indoor theater. No press release announced it, no outlet has reported it, and it does not appear on the Haunted Attraction Network's running Howl-O-Scream tracker, which carries a "Last updated" date of August 9.

The pitch: the group are '90s rising stars who never got a shot at boy-band fame, and death has not stopped the comeback. "Back from beyond the grave, Dead Air takes the stage with killer harmonies, sharp choreography and a haunting twist on the boy-band era," the card reads.

Where it came from

When SeaWorld laid out Howl-O-Scream 2026 in July, its own event framework promised two live shows. LaughingPlace, writing off the reveal, counted "two live entertainment shows." Fox 35 Orlando then named three in a July 13 story: the returning Monster Stomp, Hellzapoppin Presents: The Grave Danger Thrill Show and Throttle. Nobody named a fourth, and the Haunted Attraction Network was still counting two as recently as August 9.

The attractions page now carries four show cards. Dead Air sits at the top, ahead of the three that were already public. The three returning shows still run on their 2025 artwork files. Dead Air's logo is a separate upload sitting in a different folder.

It shares a stage with Monster Stomp

Both Dead Air and Monster Stomp are listed at the Nautilus Theater, so unless something changes, the two shows will be splitting one venue across the night. Monster Stomp is the Victorian London rock and rhythm spectacular built around Jack the Ripper, and it is the only show on the 2026 slate tagged "Fan Favorite!" Hellzapoppin plays the SeaFire Grill and Throttle plays the Lakeside Patio, so the Nautilus is the only double booking on the list.

The bar connection

The show's card name points at The Rewind, one of five all-new themed bars SeaWorld is running this year. The Rewind's own card promises "stacks of VHS tapes, ringing landlines, glowing arcade lights and the unmistakable screech of dial-up," which is the same decade Dead Air is working. SeaWorld revealed The Rewind in the same late July wave as Nekrosis, the Y2K scare zone set in a town frozen at midnight on January 1, 2000.

What else is on the page

The rest of the 2026 lineup has settled at five haunted houses (I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch, Everything Must Stay, The Rave Yard, The Dark Net and The Crawl Space) and six scare zones (Dooms District, Extermination Order, Nekrosis, Just One More Chapter, Trailer Park Tragedy and Woodrot Hollow). Mako, Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice, Ice Breaker and Pipeline run through the night. The bar names have filled in since: SeaWorld now lists all five, Byte Bar, The Rewind, Resurrection Club, The Black Sheep and Larva Lounge, where the August 9 tracker had only The Rewind. The Howl-O-Sprint 5K is set for Friday, September 18.

Howl-O-Scream runs on select evenings, September 11 through October 31. The attractions page does not list showtimes for any of the four shows.

Universal published a room by room walkthrough of the Sinners haunted house one day before Halloween Horror Nights 35 opens. Show director Ramon Paradoa says the team locked the surreal montage set first and designed the scenes before and after it around that, which he says is not always how Universal builds a house. The Sinners house was not on the paid lights on tour that matched three other HHN 35 houses to their codenames last week.
