SeaWorld's 2027 Fun Card Costs $139.99 and Includes the Rest of 2026, but Single Days Start at $59.99

SeaWorld Orlando has put its 2027 Fun Card on sale at $139.99, and the pitch is the same one the park ran last August: buy next year now, get the rest of this year thrown in. The card is good for unlimited visits through December 31, 2027, and SeaWorld's own product listing says it plainly, "Get Unlimited Visits in 2027 + Rest of 2026 FREE."

The offer is straightforward. What complicates it is the arithmetic on SeaWorld's own ticket page.

The prices. The SeaWorld only card is $139.99 per person, marked down from a $147.99 list price. The SeaWorld plus Aquatica version is $179.99, down from $242.99.

It is cheaper than last year's card. When SeaWorld launched the 2026 Fun Card a year ago today, Amusement Today reported it at "as low as $143.99." The 2027 card comes in four dollars under that, a year over year decrease.

Now run the math against today's ticket prices. The park's own "Our Top 10 Reasons to Buy a 2027 Fun Card" page leads its fourth reason with "Get Your Money's Worth in Just Two Visits," explaining that the cost of the card is "covered in just two visits." That holds against the $147.99 full gate price.

It does not hold against what SeaWorld is charging today. The date specific single day ticket on the park's ticket page is currently listed at "Tickets Starting at $59.99," discounted from that same $147.99. A second single day product, the Any Day Ticket, runs $99.99. Two single days at that starting price run $119.98, which is $20.01 less than the Fun Card. You need a third visit before the card wins: three single days come to $179.97, or $39.98 more than the card. Even that is closer than it looks, because the same page sells a Three-Day, Three Park Ticket at $46.66 a day, which the page itself totals at $139.99, the same price as the Fun Card. SeaWorld pitches that one as three parks rather than three SeaWorld days, offering "any combination of our theme parks: SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island," and the page does not say whether all three visits can go to SeaWorld.

None of which makes it a bad deal. The card runs more than sixteen months, from today through December 31, 2027, which leaves room for a third visit. It just means the honest break even is three days, not two, as long as the current discount is running.

The card sells a ride nobody can ride yet. Reason six on that same page is "Experience a New Attraction Coming Soon," and it points at SEAQuest: Legends of the Deep, a name that page renders as "SEA Quest" even though SeaWorld's blog and the ride's own page write it as one word. SeaWorld has been selling the ride on a 2026 opening since it announced the attraction on November 19, 2025, and again that December, when its blog recapped the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, at which SeaWorld and Vekoma Rides showed off the submersible vehicle. That blog post said SeaWorld "is creating a thrilling new course for 2026." The ride's own page is still selling it that way today, pitching a 2026 Annual Pass as the only guaranteed route to riding it first. It is now the middle of August 2026, that page still says only "Coming Soon," and SeaWorld has not published an opening month or even a season. Buying a 2027 Fun Card on the strength of SEAQuest means buying on faith.

Reason five is on firmer ground: Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice is open now, and the card covers it.

Read the blockout dates before you buy. For the remainder of 2026, SeaWorld Orlando blocks seven dates: 8/29, 10/17, 10/24, 12/22, 12/24, 12/25 and 12/26. For 2027 the SeaWorld Orlando list grows to nineteen dates, thirteen of them Saturdays, spread from mid March through Christmas:

  • Spring: 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3
  • Summer: 6/28, 6/29, 7/3, 7/4, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/28
  • Fall and holidays: 10/16, 10/23, 12/21, 12/23, 12/24, 12/25

Every Saturday in July 2027 is blocked. So is the Fourth of July, and so is every day from December 21 to Christmas except December 22. If you buy the $179.99 version, note that Aquatica Orlando carries its own separate list of fifteen 2027 blockout dates, running from 5/30 through 7/25. If your realistic park days are summer Saturdays, this card is not the product for you.

The other exclusions. Straight from the terms: the Fun Card "does not include admission to select special events (including Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando), parking or discounts on food and merchandise." The terms also say it "may not be copied, transferred or resold" and is "nontransferable, non-refundable, and void if altered." Parking is charged separately on every visit, so a card used often carries a running cost the sticker price does not cover.

One thing SeaWorld did not do this year. Last August, the Fun Card launch arrived bundled with the park's full next-year event lineup. This time the card went up on its own. The Fun Card page offers only a generic nod to "2027 events like Seven Seas Food Festival, Electric Ocean, Spooktacular & more," with no dates attached, and the park has given no reason for the change.
