Legoland Florida's Water Park Runs Its Last Daily Day on Sunday, Then Opens Just 10 of September's 30 Days

If a water park is the reason you are driving to Winter Haven, Sunday is the last day you can just show up. Legoland Florida's Water Park runs its last daily day of 2026 on Sunday, August 30. On Monday it is closed, and it stays closed on most days for the rest of the year.

What the calendar actually says

Legoland's own help center puts the season in one line: "Daily operation from May 23, 2026 through August 30, 2026." The resort's park hours calendar backs it up. Sunday August 30 shows 11am to 4pm. Monday August 31 shows Closed.

After that the Water Park is a weekend operation, with the Labor Day and Columbus Day long weekends attached. In September it opens on 10 of the month's 30 days: September 4, 5, 6 and 7 over the Labor Day weekend, then September 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27.

October is barely better, at 11 days out of 31: October 3 and 4, then October 9, 10, 11 and 12 over the Columbus Day weekend, then October 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31.

Then it stops

The season ends on Sunday, November 1, with hours of 10am to 4pm. The help center says it plainly: "The Water Park will close for the 2026 season on Sunday, November 1, 2026." Every date on the calendar from November 2 onward reads Closed, and so does all of December.

The same help center page notes the Water Park "is now open for the 2026 season, having officially reopened on Saturday, February 14, 2026," so the season itself dates back to Valentine's Day. The stretch that ends Sunday, the daily one, ran from May 23.

The part worth checking before you book

Brick or Treat, Legoland's Halloween event, runs on 18 dates: September 5, 6, 12, 19 and 26, then October 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31. Line that up against the Water Park calendar and three of those October dates, the 16th, the 23rd and the 30th, land on days the Water Park is shut. Every September Brick or Treat date has the Water Park open.

Worth noting too: the Water Park's own landing page gives no hint of it. As of Tuesday it still reads, "LEGOLAND® Waterpark is open daily for the summer!" with no mention of the wind-down five days out. The resort's temporary closures page lists no Water Park attraction closures at all, so nothing there points to maintenance work behind the new schedule.

Legoland has not made a separate announcement of the change. The dates simply sit in the help center article and on the hours calendar. It is the point in the year where a gate you may have assumed was open stops being open daily, five days from now.
