EPCOT's Rose & Crown Dining Room Closes February 15 for a Refurbishment Into Early Spring, but the Pub and Fish Shop Stay Open

If bangers and mash by the lagoon is on your EPCOT plan for early 2027, it is time to plan around a closure.

Disney has added a notice to the official page for Rose & Crown Dining Room, the table-service restaurant in World Showcase's United Kingdom pavilion. It reads:

"From February 15 through early spring, Rose & Crown Dining Room will be closed for refurbishment. During the refurbishment, the Rose & Crown Pub and Yorkshire County Fish Shop will be open and serving a selection of British cuisine and beverages."

The dates, as far as we know them

Disney's notice does not name a year, but February 15, 2026 has already come and gone, and WDWMAGIC, which reported the notice on Tuesday, October 6, dates the closure to February 15, 2027. That is a Monday.

The end date is fuzzier. Disney says only "early spring," and WDWMAGIC notes that "No details have been released on what the refurbishment will involve or when exactly it will reopen."

Disney has not said what is changing inside, so there is no word yet on new decor, a new menu or anything else.

Where to get your British fix instead

The good news for fish and chips fans: the pavilion's pub and fish shop stay open during the refurbishment.

What you lose for those weeks is the dining room itself. Disney's page pitches fish and chips, bangers and mash and sticky toffee pudding, served inside or out on the patio overlooking World Showcase Lagoon. Right now the restaurant is open for dinner only, and Disney puts its average adult dinner entrée price in the $15 to $34.99 range.

What to do if you are booking

If you are planning a trip for mid-February into spring 2027, check the dates carefully before you count on a Rose & Crown dinner. Until Disney announces a reopening date, the safest plan for those weeks is the pub and the fish shop in the same pavilion.
