Disney Set the Booking Dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dining, and Four Magic Kingdom Restaurants Are Taking Party Night Reservations

If you want a table inside Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year, the clock starts in a week. And it starts on two different days, depending on where you are sleeping.

Disney announced the booking dates for Very Merry dining on Thursday, August 27. Four Magic Kingdom restaurants are taking party night reservations, including The Beak and Barrel, the Adventureland tavern that opened in August 2025 and served its first party season last year.

The dates that matter: Disney Resort hotel guests book from Thursday, September 3. Everybody else books from Wednesday, September 9. That is a six day head start for on-property guests, and WDWMAGIC says that head start matters most for the restaurants and party dates in highest demand.

How the booking window actually works

The resort guest window is not a flat 60 days from today. Both outlets lay out the same mechanics, in WDW News Today's wording: from September 3, Disney Resort hotel guests can book "up to 60 days in advance of their arrival for the length of their stay (up to 10 nights)." So it keys off your arrival date, and it covers your whole trip in one sitting, to a ten night ceiling.

Everyone else, including day guests, annual passholders staying off property and locals, waits for September 9.

You book the same way you would any other Walt Disney World table: in My Disney Experience, or by calling Disney dining.

The four restaurants

Four Magic Kingdom locations are accepting reservations on party nights:

Worth understanding what a party night reservation is. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed evening event, and WDW News Today places all four inside it, describing these as where guests can dine during the party itself. Party admission is priced separately from the meal, so confirm what your reservation covers when you book.

The dessert party comes in two flavors, and the difference is where you watch

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party is back, and it is sold in two tiers. Both come with reserved fireworks viewing and a spread of seasonal snacks at Tomorrowland Terrace. The split is where you are when the show starts.

Per WDW News Today, the higher priced version lets guests stay put at Tomorrowland Terrace and watch from their seats. The lower priced version moves you to the Plaza Garden viewing area.

That is a real distinction rather than a marketing one. The higher tier keeps you at the table you are already sitting at. The lower tier moves you out to a separate reserved viewing area. Seated versus relocated is the practical difference, and it carries a price difference too.

Neither outlet reporting the booking dates published prices for either dessert party tier. They will most likely surface on the party's own dining pages as the booking windows open in early September.

Plan around it

The party itself runs on select Magic Kingdom nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026, and tickets are already on sale. Dining is the piece that opens next.

If you are on property and you want a specific restaurant on a specific party night, plan to be in My Disney Experience the moment the September 3 window turns over. Neither outlet has published a time of day for the window. WDWMAGIC does flag the dessert party as a popular add-on that fills up quickly once reservations open.
