SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream College Deal Now Starts at $32, but That Price Is a Four Ticket Pack That Blocks Every Friday and Saturday

SeaWorld Orlando's Howl-O-Scream college deal landing page was updated at 11:13 a.m. Eastern this morning, and the number on it is two dollars higher than the one the page carried last season. The restrictions did not go away with it. They moved one click deeper, onto the offer page the landing page sends students to.

The quick version: the landing page now advertises Howl-O-Scream tickets "for as low as $32." The 2025 season version of the same URL read "as low as $30 each (4-pack)." So the advertised student price is up two dollars, and the four pack language is gone from that sentence. It is not gone from the offer. SeaWorld's college deal offer page, which loads without an ID.me login, prices $32 as an "Any Night College Ticket 4-pack (Friday & Saturday Blockout)" carrying a "Minimum purchase of 4 required" and a blockout on every Friday and Saturday of the season. Student tickets with no minimum are also on that page, at $52.99 for any night and $47.99 for a Thursday, Friday or Sunday.

What changed on the page

The offer line on SeaWorld's college deal page currently reads, in full: "College Deal Exclusive: Howl-O-Scream tickets for as low as $32. Blockout dates may apply."

The Internet Archive's copy of the 2025 season version of that same URL reads: "College Deal Exclusive: Howl-O-Scream tickets for as low as $30 each (4-pack). Blockout dates may apply." That wording is in the January 13, 2026 capture and was still there on May 18, 2026, the most recent capture the archive holds. There is no page capture of this URL from October 2025; the archive's October 15, 2025 entry is a redirect, not a saved page.

Two differences, then. The price, and the parenthetical.

The disclaimer at the bottom of the landing page moved with it. Last season that disclaimer read: "Must purchase four tickets to get discounted rate. Ticket only valid on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets are not valid on Fridays and Saturdays." The current disclaimer has no four ticket line and no Thursday and Sunday line. On day restrictions it now says only: "Tickets are not valid on Saturdays."

That is a change in what the landing page discloses, not a change in what the cheapest ticket costs you. The offer page still sells $32 only as a four ticket pack, and lists that pack's blockout dates in full: "September 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31." Howl-O-Scream runs 26 nights this season, and all 16 of those blocked dates are event nights, so the $32 pack is good on 10 of the 26, and only if you buy four. Applied to the same 26 night calendar, last season's Thursday and Sunday rule would have covered 7. The landing page disclaimer, which blocks only Saturdays, does not describe the $32 product at all.

How $32 compares

On SeaWorld's own Howl-O-Scream tickets page today, Single-Night Tickets are advertised under a "Prices Starting at" heading at $47.99, the Any Night Ticket at a flat $64.99, both struck through from $125.99. Pass members get a line of their own: "Pass Members can purchase Howl-O-Scream Single-Night Tickets for only $39.99."

Those are floors, but they are not the same kind of purchase. The $47.99 public price and the $39.99 pass member price each buy one ticket for one night. The $32 student price buys one of four tickets that have to be bought together, $128 before taxes and fees, usable on 10 nights. The student tickets with no minimum sit on the same offer page at $47.99 for the Thursday, Friday or Sunday version and $52.99 for any night. Two more four packs sit alongside them: an Any Night College Ticket 4-pack at $52.99 each with no blockout dates, and a Saturday Blockout version at $47.99 each that gives up the eight Saturdays and keeps the other 18 nights. Every four pack on the page carries the same "Minimum purchase of 4 required" line. One note for anyone price hunting: the $31 in-park Any Night Ticket we reported earlier this month was cheaper still, but that one was a Pass Member offer sold only at the Pass Member Lounge inside the park, and its window closed September 6.

The catches

• You need to be registered with ID.me, the third party SeaWorld uses to verify student status, and every student product on the offer page also says "Must present valid student ID card upon redemption."
• "Tickets are not valid on Saturdays." That is the only weekday restriction the landing page states, and its "Blockout dates may apply" line names none. The offer page does name them, product by product, and the $32 pack's list runs to every Friday and Saturday of the season. The season's closing night, October 31, is a Saturday, and the $32 pack rules it out twice over: it is on the blockout list, and it falls outside the pack's October 4 to 29 validity window.
• The ticket does not include daytime park admission. Howl-O-Scream is a separately ticketed night event, and SeaWorld says neither a Fun Card nor an Annual Pass gets you in.
• Prices are per person and exclude parking, taxes and service fees.

This is a returning offer, not a new program

The college deal URL has been on SeaWorld's site for years, so nothing here is the launch of a student discount. What has happened is that the 2026 version of a recurring seasonal offer is now up, at a new number, with the four ticket minimum moved off the landing page and onto the offer page behind it. The $32 pack is also date limited on its face: SeaWorld says it is "Valid for one Howl-O-Scream 2026 event night, select nights October 4 - 29, 2026," which lands on the same 10 nights the blockout list leaves open. The landing page's last modified timestamp in SeaWorld's own sitemap is 2026-09-23 at 15:13 UTC, which is 11:13 a.m. Eastern, making it the second most recently touched Howl-O-Scream page on the site, behind the Howl-O-Scream attractions page at 1:23 p.m. Eastern. That timestamp records an edit to the page, not necessarily the moment the price changed.

Howl-O-Scream runs select nights from September 11 through October 31. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.
