SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration Runs on 16 November Nights, and on the Other Days the Park Closes at 6pm With No Miracles or Fireworks

Miracles is back at SeaWorld Orlando this Friday, but do not plan just any weeknight around it. The park's own show calendar puts Christmas Celebration on 16 nights in November, and on the other days the park closes at 6pm.

SeaWorld's event page says only that Christmas Celebration runs on select dates from November 6 to January 4, 2027. The calendar on its park hours page shows exactly which dates those are, show by show.

The November event nights

  • Opening weekend: Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8
  • Second weekend: Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15
  • Thanksgiving stretch: every night from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 29

That is 16 nights. On the other nine November days from opening night on (November 9 to 12, November 16 to 19, and Monday, November 30), the calendar has the park open from 10am to 6pm. Those days list no Miracles, no Winter Wonderland on Ice, no Holiday Fireworks, no Sea of Trees and no Elmo's Christmas Wish.

Christmas does not vanish completely on those days. Clyde & Seamore's Countdown to Christmas is still listed at 2pm and 4pm.

What a typical event night looks like

On most event nights the park closes at 9pm, and the calendar lines up the evening like this:

  • 6pm, 8pm and 9:20pm: Sea of Trees, on the lagoon
  • 7pm and 8:30pm: Winter Wonderland on Ice, at Bayside Stadium
  • 7:30pm: Miracles, the calendar's only showing of it that night
  • 9pm: Holiday Fireworks (the event page calls them Holiday Reflections)

There is one Miracles show on most event nights, so it is worth planning the evening around it. The calendar labels it "All NEW! Miracles," while SeaWorld's October 30 press release calls it "Returning for the first time since 2019." Both can be true if the comeback has been rebuilt, but SeaWorld has not said what is different.

The late nights

  • Saturdays, November 14 and 21: the park closes at 10pm, Miracles moves to 8:30pm and the fireworks to 10pm.
  • Friday and Saturday, November 27 and 28: the park closes at 10pm and Miracles plays twice, at 7pm and 8:30pm. Those are the only November nights on the calendar with two showings.

Opening Saturday, November 7, is the only November Saturday on the calendar with ASL Saturdays accessible seating for Deaf and hard of hearing guests. It is listed for Elmo's Christmas Wish at 11am, Clyde & Seamore's Countdown to Christmas at 2pm, Dolphin Adventures at 3pm, Mrs. Claus' Magic Kitchen at 5pm, O Wondrous Night at 6:30pm, Miracles at 7:30pm and the 8:30pm Winter Wonderland on Ice, and the noon Orca Encounter that day has an ASL interpreter.

Pass Members have one more option on opening night. SeaWorld's November Pass Member news promises "an exclusive 5:30 p.m. showtime at Orca Stadium just for Pass Members" on Friday, November 6. That showing is not on the public calendar.

December follows the same pattern, so far

SeaWorld has not posted December show times yet, only park hours. Those hours have the park closing at 6pm on December 1 to 3 and December 7 to 10, and staying open until 9pm or 10pm on the weekends of December 4 to 6 and 11 to 13. From December 14 on, every day runs until at least 9pm, and New Year's Eve gets its own late hours. We will check again once the show listings go up.

Which night are you picking, a regular 9pm night or one of the two-Miracles nights after Thanksgiving?
