SeaWorld Cut Its One Park Howl-O-Scream Pass to $99.99, Reversing an Odd Inversion, and a $42.99 Night on a Page the Event Page Never Links To

SeaWorld Orlando has quietly rewritten its Howl-O-Scream pricing, and the strangest thing about the old ladder is gone.

On August 24 this site reported an inversion on SeaWorld's own ticket page: the unlimited pass covering SeaWorld Orlando alone was listed at $112.99, while the Two Park Unlimited Scream Pass covering both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was $102.99. One park, ten dollars more.

Read the same page today and both numbers are gone. The two unlimited passes now share one listing titled "Two Park Unlimited Scream Pass," subtitled "Howl-O-Scream 2026: SeaWorld & Busch Gardens," with two price options inside it: "SeaWorld & Busch Gardens" at $104.99 and "SeaWorld" at $99.99. The one park option is now $5 cheaper than the two park pass, which is the direction you would expect.

Two things moved at once. The one park price dropped $13, and the two park price rose $2. The presentation changed too. A week ago we recorded the two unlimited passes as separately tagged listings, "Save Up to 45%" on the SeaWorld only pass and "Save Over 45%" on the two park pass. Today they sit in one card under a single "Save Over 65%" tag, with the SeaWorld only option reduced to a price line inside a product named for the two park pass. The struck through regular prices, $205.99 and $308.99, are unchanged. The single tag only fits one of the two options: $104.99 off $308.99 is about 66 percent, but $99.99 off $205.99 is about 51 percent. SeaWorld has not announced any of this, and there is no note on the page explaining the change.

A cheaper ticket sits on a page the event page never links to

There is a second, stranger piece of Howl-O-Scream pricing sitting on SeaWorld's own website, and nothing links to it from the event page.

SeaWorld runs a partner landing page for attendees of Spooky Empire, the Orlando horror convention. Its headline reads "Welcome Spooky Empire!" and the offer copy says: "This exclusive offer is available only to you...ANY NIGHT of Howl-O-Scream for only $42.99."

The public page's any night ticket sells for $66.99. The convention price is $24.00 less, roughly 36 percent below the public listing, though the two are separate products: they carry different struck through list prices, $125.99 on the public page and $122.99 on the partner page, and, as below, different valid dates. The partner page badges the $42.99 "Save 65%" against that $122.99.

The catch is one date the offer copy never mentions

The discount costs you the event's opening weekend. The offer copy up top promises "ANY NIGHT" with no date attached. The restriction turns up further down the page, inside the ticket card itself.

The public any night ticket reads: "Brave 1 visit to Howl-O-Scream 2026 on ANY event night Sept. 11 - Oct. 31 at SeaWorld Orlando."

The Spooky Empire version of that same sentence reads: "Brave 1 visit to Howl-O-Scream 2026 on ANY event night Sept. 18 - Oct. 31 at SeaWorld Orlando."

That gap is narrower than the dates make it look. SeaWorld's own calendar marks 26 event nights across the season, and only two of them fall before September 18: opening night on Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12. "Any night" on the convention ticket means any night except that opening weekend. To SeaWorld's credit the date range is set in bold on the ticket card, but that is the only place on the page it appears, and the offer copy above it says nothing about it.

The offer's own restrictions are otherwise standard: "Discount not available at the front gate," "Fun Cards and Annual Passes are not valid for entry," no guests in costumes are admitted, and the ticket expires October 31, 2026.

The convention itself lands after almost all of Howl-O-Scream

Spooky Empire lists its next event as "Oct 30-Nov 1, 2026" at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, a Friday to Sunday run. Line that up against Howl-O-Scream and the overlap is thin. SeaWorld's event page publishes a night by night calendar for both months, and it marks Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31 as event nights. The convention's middle day, Saturday October 31, is Howl-O-Scream's closing night, and the ticket expires that same day. Sunday November 1, the convention's final day, is not an event night at all. Anyone using this ticket during the convention itself gets exactly two chances, and one of them is closing night.

A caution on framing. The artwork on the offer page is filed under a 2025 path on SeaWorld's server, which points to a returning annual partner offer refreshed with 2026 prices rather than something posted this week. That signal is weak on its own, since the 2026 event page serves 2025 image paths too. What is new is the price the offer now carries relative to everything else SeaWorld is selling.

Where the numbers stand today

• Any night single ticket, public page: $66.99, valid September 11 to October 31
• Any night single ticket, Spooky Empire page: $42.99, valid September 18 to October 31
• SeaWorld only unlimited: $99.99, sold as the "SeaWorld" option inside the Two Park Unlimited Scream Pass card
• Two park unlimited with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: $104.99

One more oddity worth noting: on Monday afternoon the public Howl-O-Scream page carried a countdown banner reading "Hurry, Offer Ends August 30!" above a "Tickets As Low As $45.99 When You Buy 2+" promotion, a day after that offer's stated end date. By Monday evening the headline had been rewritten to "Tickets as Low as $45.99! Hurry Offer Ends Sept 7th," with the "When You Buy 2+" wording gone, while the "Hurry, Offer Ends August 30!" line above it stayed put, so the banner now shows two different end dates at once. The $45.99 is live on the ticket page either way, as the starting price of a date specific Single-Night Ticket. The $42.99 convention ticket still undercuts it. Two SeaWorld prices do go lower, and both carry conditions: the ticket page lists a "Single-Night Ticket for Groups 15+" starting at $40.99, and the event page tells pass members they can buy any night tickets "for only $40.99 when you buy 2+" once they log in. For a walk up buyer with no membership and no group, the convention page is the cheapest Howl-O-Scream night SeaWorld sells.
