SeaWorld quietly priced its new Howl-O-Scream VIP Terror Tour, and it starts at $299.99 a person

SeaWorld Orlando has put a number on the newest and priciest upgrade it sells at Howl-O-Scream. The VIP Terror Tour is listed at $299.99 per adult, ages 10 and up, and the park never announced the price.

The price appeared on the event's upgrades page, where it sits under a "Prices Starting at" label, not on the tour's own page, which still carries no price at all. That split is why it slipped past the coverage. Haunted Attraction Network's running Howl-O-Scream Orlando roundup, last updated August 9, knows the tour exists and says flatly that "pricing is not posted on the tour page".

What $299.99 buys

This is the only Howl-O-Scream upgrade that includes admission to the event. SeaWorld's inclusion list covers event admission, a private guide, front of the line entry at every haunted house and at select thrill rides, reserved seating at every event show, and food and drink redemptions at the event's themed huts.

Know before you book: every reservation has to cover at least two guests, which puts the real floor at $599.98 a booking, the party selector maxes out at 10 guests, and any guest under 18 needs a paid adult along. The tour departs at 7 p.m., and guests are asked to meet the guide by 6:45 p.m. at the VIP Terror Tour lounge, which SeaWorld places "immediately after the Howl-O-Scream main entrance". Cancelling the tour or changing your group size takes 48 hours of notice, or the full payment is forfeited.

Where it sits against the skip the line tiers

The tour is roughly three times the cost of the most expensive Front Line Fear pass, though those passes do not include admission. The current lineup:

  • Front Line Fear, $69.99. One time priority per house at select haunted houses, excluding I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch.
  • Front Line Fear EXTREME, $89.99. Adds one time priority on Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, Ice Breaker, Mako and Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice, plus reserved Monster Stomp seating.
  • Front Line Fear ULTIMATE, $99.99. Unlimited house and thrill ride priority, one time priority for The Final Catch, and reserved Monster Stomp seating.

None of the three Front Line Fear tiers includes admission to Howl-O-Scream, and each is valid only for the date selected.

A small copy editing ghost

One oddity for the collectors: two versions of the tour's sales pitch are live at the same time. The upgrades page reads "Not sure if you can make it through this night on your own? Let a VIP guide help you survive this Tour of Terror ..." The tour's own page is missing a word and spells the crowd wrong: "Not sure if you can make through this night on your own?" and "brave the hoards and survive this Tour of Terror!"

Howl-O-Scream runs select nights from September 11 through October 31, 2026.

Pirate River Quest Has Sat on Legoland Florida's Closure List for More Than a Year With No Reopening Date, and Three More Went Dark Monday

Legoland Florida's temporary closures page lists seven things shut right now, and three of them carry no end date at all: Pirate River Quest, The LEGOLAND Story and the Minifigure Trading Wall. Archived copies show the boat ride has been on the list since at least September last year, when Legoland's own page dated the closure to August 4, 2025. Four more closures carry dates, three of them starting Monday, including The Great LEGO Race and the full closure of Imagination Zone. One of those four, Deli Takeover, is still listed as a lunch option on the park's new prepaid Dining Packages.

A separate Discovery Cove offer page for the same visit date is still carrying leftover copy from two years ago, and a separate $50 gift card offer closes on Sunday.

The Daydream River loop now reads clearly from the air, palms are planted on its islands, and the Perspective Pond shell is poured on the Bay Lake side.
