Two Groups Argued the Whole 80 Minute Wait for Avatar Flight of Passage Before the Fight Started, and a Second Video Surfaced Overnight

Two groups of guests spent an 80 minute wait for Avatar Flight of Passage arguing with each other on Sunday morning. By the time they were close to boarding at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the argument had turned physical, and a guest video of the fight went up on Reddit the same afternoon. A second angle, taken from further back in the same queue, appeared on TikTok overnight.

Neither Walt Disney World nor the Orange County Sheriff's Office had commented as of Inside the Magic's Sunday night report, and what happened to the guests involved is still unknown.

What the two videos show

The first video was posted to the r/WaltDisneyWorld subreddit by a user going by United_Excitement329, who wrote that the fight "broke out this morning in line for Avatar:Flight of passage" and that they were "not sure what started the fight, but I was told the two groups had been arguing the entire wait time." A later edit ruled out line cutting: "It wasn't like cutting. These two groups had been arguing for the entirety of the 80 minute wait. Still not sure what about."

WDW News Today, which reported the incident on Sunday evening, said the clip runs a little over one minute, and that "Both men and women can be seen throwing punches and pushing one another in the video." That first report placed the moment the argument turned physical at the point the groups "neared the loading area." WDW News Today's follow up the next morning instead described the fight as breaking out "near the pre-show," so the exact spot in the queue is not settled.

Inside the Magic, which followed on Sunday night, reported that the brawl "appeared to extend through multiple rooms in the queue." It also reported that a Disney cast member ran up and tried to ask the guests to stop fighting, and wrote that cast members "are trained not to physically intervene and are instead instructed to call security."

The second video was posted to TikTok on Sunday night by a user going by dorganmillie. WDW News Today reported that it "was taken from further back in the queue and clearly shows one guest holding another while a third aggressively punches the grappled guest," and that it corresponds to a moment at the beginning of the Reddit video.

A battery call logged at 11:21 a.m.

A public Orange County Sheriff's Office call entry, circulated by the scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime on X, logs a battery call at Savannah Cir W at 11:21 a.m. on August 2. Inside the Magic reported that the call log posted by that account "corresponds with the approximate address for Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park." WDW News Today wrote that "there was a call to the Orange County Sheriff's Office that matches the location and events at 11:21 AM."

The entry itself is sparse. It carries a record key of 2026-08020526, a found time of 11:29 a.m., a district of OCSO 601, and no closed time in the version that was screenshotted.

What is still unknown

There is no public confirmation of arrests, charges, or park bans, and Inside the Magic reported that neither the sheriff's office nor Walt Disney World issued a statement. Both outlets wrote that the guests involved were most likely removed from the park, but neither presented that as confirmed.

Also unknown is what the two groups were actually arguing about for 80 minutes. The person who posted the video did not know either.
