The Muppet Labs flask lasted less than a day at Hollywood Studios before Disney pulled it from the kiosk

A conical laboratory flask full of glittery pink lemonade is not the sort of souvenir that usually generates a news cycle. This one managed it in a single day.

On Saturday, August 1, Disney announced an exclusive Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets novelty cup at FØØD by Swedish Chef, the quick service kiosk by the attraction's exit at Disney's Hollywood Studios. By approximately 5:30 p.m. the same day, it had been pulled from the kiosk.

Quick facts: The flask came with the purchase of one of two drinks, the Pink Le-moi-nade at $6.79 or the Pond Water Limeade at $6.99. It was sold at FØØD by Swedish Chef, a cashless location. Disney's announcement said it would be available while supplies last.

A launch with no sign on it

Disney Parks announced the cup in a post on its official X account on Saturday morning, but the kiosk itself carried no sign of it. WDW News Today, which photographed the flask later that morning, reported later that day that "There was no signage earlier today indicating they were available," and that the two drinks were simply sitting in the flasks near the register.

When the outlet returned later in the day, the flasks were no longer for sale. "We were told that they were pulled from the kiosk at approximately 5:30 p.m.," the site reported, adding that "Cast Members are unsure if they will be available in the future."

No reason for the pull has been announced. It is worth being careful here: Disney's own wording was "while supplies last," so an ordinary sellout is a perfectly plausible explanation. What is documented is only this: the flasks were pulled at around 5:30 p.m., and the Cast Members on the ground did not know whether they would return.

Why a flask, and why Muppet Labs

The shape is not random. The flask points to Muppet Labs, the chaotic research operation run by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his long suffering assistant Beaker. In the rethemed attraction's story, Muppet Labs developed the experimental technology that powers the ride's high speed limousines, so a flask of something vividly, chemically colored is very much on brand.

The drinks lean into it. Pink Le-moi-nade, the Miss Piggy option, is Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and guava with a sprinkle of pink shimmer. Pond Water Limeade, the Kermit option, is Minute Maid Limeade with green apple and fruit juice filled pearls, which arrives a deep and committed green.

The kiosk's menu board is worth reading in full for one line of small print alone, which advises that per Kermit the Frog, for everyone's health and safety, Swedish Chef is not permitted to prepare food at FØØD. The rest of the menu runs to Wocka Wocking Nachos, a Churro Drumstick, Mini Corn Dogs, a Mayhem Soft-serve Float and a three item alcohol list topping out at a $16.50 Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry Slushy spiked with rum or vodka.

Should you go looking for one

For now, no. The flask is not currently available for purchase, and nobody at the kiosk is promising a restock. If you are heading to Hollywood Studios this week, only the flask has been reported pulled, not the two drinks themselves, though we have not seen confirmation of what they are being served in now. The ride is still the reason to be standing there.

If the flasks do come back, we would expect them to move quickly. A limited souvenir cup that already has a story attached to it is unlikely to linger.
