Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Just Sold Out Its First September Night, and Disney Confirmed the 2026 Showtimes
Less than two weeks ago the safe advice for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was easy to give: if August looks picked over, book September. That advice just took its first hit.
September 4 is now showing as sold out on the Walt Disney World website, the first September night to go this season. WDWMagic reports it was priced at $154 per person, which put it toward the cheaper end of the September calendar. WDWMagic notes that every August date gone so far was either a low-priced night or a high-demand date like opening night.

Eight nights are gone
Here is the full sold-out list, in the order WDWMagic lists them:
- October 31, gone on day one of general public sales
- August 14
- August 11
- October 13
- August 18
- August 7, opening night
- October 9
- September 4
That is eight of the season's 38 nights. Two dates have fallen since we last checked in on July 19, when the count was six and every September night was still available: October 9, and now September 4.
The showtimes are locked in
Disney has confirmed showtimes for the party's three headline offerings. The Sanderson Sisters take the Cinderella Castle stage three times in Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, at 9:05pm, 10:35pm and midnight, matching last year's schedule.
The confirmed schedule for 2026 party nights:
- 8:15pm, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, first showing
- 9:05pm, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
- 10pm, Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks
- 10:35pm, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
- 12:00am, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
One gap remains. WDWMagic calls the second showing of Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade the only major showtime Disney has not posted. In 2025 it ran at 11:15pm, and WDWMagic calls that the most likely time for 2026, but nothing official is out yet. Blog Mickey adds that select October nights may pick up an extra 7:35pm Spelltacular showing, also unconfirmed.

What 2025 says about how fast the rest goes
WDWMagic laid the two seasons side by side, and the comparison is not comforting if you are still shopping. In 2025, September dates started falling in mid-August, with September 5 going by August 18. That was roughly three months after general public sales opened on May 22. This year sales opened on May 12, ten days earlier, and September 4 has now gone on a similar timeline.
What followed in 2025:
- By August 26, every remaining August night was sold out, along with September 2
- By September 11, only five nights were left across the entire season
- The entire 2025 season sold out on September 24
WDWMagic calls the remaining September dates priced below $160 the most likely next to go.
What is still available
August is down to five nights: the 21st and 23rd at $139, the 25th at $144, and the 28th and 30th at $149. September still has twelve, running from $149 on the 1st up to $184 on the 29th. October has thirteen left, starting at $189 on the 1st and topping out at $224 on the 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th. All prices are per person before tax.
Tickets are at DisneyWorld.com/Halloween or through the Disney Reservation Center at 407-934-7639.

Opening night is Friday, August 7
Party signage has gone up at both the Transportation and Ticket Center and the Magic Kingdom main entrance, and WDWMagic reports that full fall and Halloween decorations across the park are expected in the coming week.
August 7 is the earliest opening night in the event's history, beating a previous record of August 9 set in 2024, according to WDWMagic. Party ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom from 4pm even though the event itself runs 7pm to midnight, so the ticket covers eight hours in the park rather than five.
New this year, Disney has added A Masquerade with Stitch at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, where Disney says Stitch is hosting "an ever-changing masquerade" alongside his pals Lilo and Angel, and See Spirited Swashbucklers in Adventureland, where Captain Jack Sparrow leads what Disney calls "a swashbuckling series of pirate antics." WDWMagic reports trick-or-treating at more than a dozen stops with complimentary treat bags for all guests, though Disney has not yet published its 2026 trick-or-treat location list.
