On September 1, 10 Not-So-Scary nights were still on sale. Now it is three: Thursday, September 24 ($174), Tuesday, September 29 ($184) and Sunday, October 25 ($224). Last year the whole season was gone by September 24.
The August 30 party went ahead with tickets still on sale, the first night to do that since the sellout streak began in 2022. It landed on the opening weekend of both Halloween Horror Nights and SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular, after days of heavy rain. Ten of the season's 38 nights are still available, topping out at $224.
Disney published the full menu for The Diamond Horseshoe pop-up at Magic Kingdom and set the opening for Sunday, October 4, with reservations from September 29. The menu runs six small plates, four non alcoholic drinks, six cocktails, three wines and three draft beers, with no entrees, no desserts and no prices. Disney also said the pop-up will not be available during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and October 4 is one of 14 party nights in its first 28 days.
Three more nights are off the calendar: August 23, October 8 and October 15, taking the 2026 total to sixteen nights gone out of 38. Two of those three were still on sale on Tuesday morning. August is down to the 25th, 28th and 30th, remaining nights run $144 to $224, and WDWmagic says the season is now moving faster than 2025, which sold out completely on September 24.
Hades' henchmen used to dance at the rear of the Skeleton Band float, at first inside dark metal cages with glowsticks, and in later years with just the glowsticks. For the 2026 run of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Anastasia and Drizella have the spot instead, with no cages and no glowsticks. WDW News Today argues the swap may quietly retire the last of the parade's grown-up streak.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party opened August 7, and Magic Kingdom's daily hours changed with it. On party dates through August 21 the park opens at 8am instead of 9am, with resort early entry at 7:30am, and on Halloween party dates it closes to regular admission at 6pm so the party can begin at 7pm. Happily Ever After and the Disney Starlight parade do not run on party nights, and some Extended Evening Hours have moved to Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom.
