It's officially MAR10 Day — and there's a brand new face in Super Nintendo World. Yoshi has arrived at Universal Epic Universe!

As we previously reported, Universal announced a five-week celebration running from March 10 through April 13 to mark the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. And today, the star of that celebration made his debut:

The Yoshi meet-and-greet is included with park admission — no extra charge. He's meeting guests inside Super Nintendo World throughout the day, with meet times posted in the park. The same experience is also running at Universal Studios Hollywood.

More Than Just Yoshi

The celebration goes well beyond the meet-and-greet. Here's what else launched today:

  • Luma Shoulder Pals — first-of-their-kind interactive shoulder accessories themed to the Luma characters from the film, available in blue and yellow. They feature light and sound effects and can even communicate with each other when close together.

  • Rosalina Cupcake — a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake and lemon buttercream, topped with a chocolate crown and star.

  • Galaxy Popcorn — multicolored berry-flavored popcorn with edible glitter.

  • CityWalk photo ops — themed photo opportunities inspired by the film, free and accessible to anyone visiting Universal CityWalk (no park admission required).

Nintendo and Illumination also dropped the final trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie today, perfectly timed with the park celebration launch.

The celebration runs daily through April 13, 2026, with the film hitting theaters on April 1. If you're heading to Epic Universe in the next few weeks, make sure to swing by Super Nintendo World and say hello to everyone's favorite green dinosaur.
