SeaWorld Orlando is running a back-to-back Pass Member event and public debut this week. The Pass Member VIP Ride Night runs tonight Thursday June 11 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Electric Ocean publicly debuts tomorrow Friday June 12 with three nighttime animal shows in the lineup, a new drone-into-Ignite spectacle, Club SeaGlow, and Hydro Surge at Nautilus Theater.

The headlines:

  • Pass Member VIP Ride Night: Thursday June 11, 7 to 9 p.m. (park closes to general public at 7 p.m.).
  • Eligibility: active Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Pass Members plus accompanying Preschool Card holders. Fun Card, Friends and Family Pass, and Pass Member Guest Tickets are NOT eligible.
  • Featured rides tonight: Pipeline, Mako, Expedition Odyssey: Fire and Ice, Penguin Trek, Ice Breaker, Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, Manta, Infinity Falls, plus select Sesame Street Land attractions. Animal Encounters will not be open during the event.

  • Pass Member perk: free Pipeline Mini Blocks Trailing Car with $15-plus merchandise purchase while supplies last.
  • Electric Ocean public debut tomorrow Friday June 12 runs select Friday and Saturday nights through September 7.
  • Three Electric Ocean nighttime animal shows in the 2026 lineup: "Light Up the Night," "Sea Lions Tonite," and "Dolphins: Touch the Sky."
  • New drone-into-Ignite spectacle bridges the drone show into the existing Ignite fireworks finale.
  • Club SeaGlow DJ party at Bayside Stadium.
  • Hydro Surge cirque at Nautilus Theater.

What the VIP Ride Night is

The Pass Member VIP Ride Night is an after-hours, lower-capacity event for active Pass Members. The park closes to the general public at 7 p.m., and eligible Pass Members get access to the featured ride lineup for the two-hour window. The shortened window plus the reduced crowd typically produces meaningfully shorter waits than during regular park hours.

The Pass Member perk tonight is a free Pipeline Mini Blocks Trailing Car with a $15-or-more merchandise purchase while supplies last.

What Electric Ocean adds tomorrow

Electric Ocean is SeaWorld's annual summer nighttime event series. The 2026 edition runs select Friday and Saturday nights from June 12 through September 7. The 2026 program includes three nighttime animal shows:

  • Light Up the Night at Orca Stadium.
  • Sea Lions Tonite at Sea Lion and Otter Stadium.
  • Dolphins: Touch the Sky at Dolphin Stadium.

The drone-into-Ignite handoff is a new bridge element: a drone show transitions directly into the existing Ignite fireworks finale rather than running as a separate sequence. Club SeaGlow returns at Bayside Stadium as the DJ party, and Hydro Surge cirque-style show returns at Nautilus Theater.

Quick planner notes

  • Pass Member VIP Ride Night is tonight 7 to 9 p.m.; if you're eligible, head to a featured ride immediately at 7 p.m. for the shortest waits.
  • If you're a Fun Card, Friends and Family Pass, or Pass Member Guest Ticket holder, tonight is not your event. The next big Pass Member-only event will be announced separately.
  • If you're planning to come back Friday June 12 for Electric Ocean, regular park admission is required. SeaWorld's official Electric Ocean page does not list a separate ticket.
  • Bring a light layer for Electric Ocean nights. Florida summer evenings still cool to the mid-70s by the 9 p.m. fireworks slot.
  • Stack with Fire and Ice. The new ride is fully operational and pairs naturally with the rest of the Electric Ocean program.

Fire & Ice Day 2 Reviews at SeaWorld Orlando: Attractions Magazine Calls It Better Than Soarin'

The first long-form review of Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice landed yesterday from Attractions Magazine, and the verdict is sharp: the new SeaWorld Orlando flying-theater retheme "surpasses Disney's new Soarin' Across America" and "balances tranquil footage with fast-paced moments" with "thoughtful and structured" transitions. The film was shot in Iceland and produced by Flyover (the Vancouver-based attraction-design studio whose FlyOver films are directed by former Imagineer Rick Rothschild, who led the creative development of the original Soarin' Over California). Day 2 wait times and ride profile are now public.
